agreed, 2 observations.... correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't many amish inbred, genetically speaking? not between brother sister, but very small communities, the genetic makeup is very related. They seem to all have odd features, especially the boys at the end, they kinda seem like good ol' corn fed American boys, only something odd in their facial morphology.

2nd, notice the ones that just came out are skinny while the ones that've been out for awhile all put on considerable amount of weight, in principle, showing how processed food is linked with fat deposits.... they would be interesting research subjects on certain studies.

Ironically, that's their only way to salvation.

I thought Levi looked good. And the one in the yellow striped shirt.

I always thought Amish guys looked good with their beard and stuff.

I recognize Mose. He was in the cast of a reality TV series that was on a few years ago called Amish in the City.

after viewing this clip, i realize why my father got the hell outta Corn (yes, true name!) Oklahoma, a hotbed of babtist menonite families, where he was born and spent too much of his childhood "working on the farm".

in over twenty years, we visited his prolific family there twice. even as a child i could tell Dad was not happy there.

the last time we were there; i do recall that my farm cousins were more pumped up and muscular than their "city cousin" (me) was. i recall mentally picturing one distant cousin, with his shirt off, as i worked out as gym inspiration.

tank Gawd Dad "escaped" to the "Sin City" of New Orleans, LA!!!

I believe that once you leave the community you are not allowed to return. I grew up in an area of Ohio where the Amish are plentiful. I went to school with a couple of them through elementary and junior high and in class she (jackie) spoke of it being a "final choice" in their lives to live in the church or live out of it. It is good that they have somewhere to go, and i applaud those who are taking them in.
I will also tell anyone that if you need a roof put on or work done that these people are super dedicated to quality and are some of the most hard working trustworthy people i have ever had to deal with. icon_smile.gif

I also agree that they live healthier because they grow and trade most of their own food. The rest of society could take notes...
