Went to Vegas for NYE many years ago. Never again. It was a mad house. The streets were packed, and you couldn't even move. And worse, people wouldn't make room to let you pass. We had to go into punk rock mode and mosh/punch our way out of there. icon_neutral.gif

Here is a suggestion... don't goto vegas for new years. It is just a lot of work. The entire time I was there I tried to think of ways to avoid the overcrowded areas and it turns out that there aren't any. I guess you can walk off the strip and be fine.

anyways, you should go to vegas during the Pimps and Hoes Ball. Porn awards are held there.

For New Years Eve, go to NYC.

I did NYC two years ago. Thanks for the advice though.

Lets rephrase the question. I'll be there for a week, so what are some cool places to hit up in general... not just for NYE.

If you dont mind getting a rental I say head to the grand canyon.

Its about a 2-3 hour drive, but sooo worth it. The place is just amazing.

If you are staying on the strip, I highly recommend eatting lunch at the Stratosphere. It is pricey and they recomend a reservation. But the view was awesome. I am sure dinner there would be amazing but the price of things triple and well I would rather gamble with that money then eat it..
