I recently met up with RJ member txguy1605 in San Antonio, TX. txguy1605 is quite a catch! He is VERY well educated, totally down to earth, and just plain normal. He's Tall, Dark and Handsome...a perfect trifecta for RJ. We had extended conversations about dating, how to approach the hot men we admire from the distance, being gay, body image/type, his "crush", workouts, diets, our ambitions, our likes/dislikes, family...and pretty much everything else in between - and yes, even sex...LOL!! icon_smile.gif Any guy who turns him down is a fool. I eventually learned that he is a co-worker with a guy I am currently dating.

I treated txguy1605 to a full day's worth of fun activities including Sunday brunch at La Madeline's (which had poor service)and to North Star Mall where we structured a fool-proof technique on how to scope out hot guys. I also treated him to delicious Double Dark Chocolate icecream with strawberries and almonds. We window shopped and searched for hot deals with no luck, but better luck next time. We took a rest in home decor at Macy's and discussed fashion trends we see ourselves transitioning into later this year. On the drive to the theater, we talked about my memorable sexcapades and the wonderful men that have shared their love over the years since my coming out.

After a wardrobe change, I treated him to "Horton Hears a Who" at the local AMC where a bothersome 2-year old ran around the theater while his dead-beat mother stayed glued to her seat. After the film, we walked down to Fire Wok for make-your-own-China-bowl cuisine. I reget sitting SOO far away from the drink machine because mere minutes after our dishes arrived, three hunky police officers sat in for a late lunch. One particular cop was the Alpha Hunk because txguy1605 and I could NOT take our eyes off him. OMG!! Had it not been for the uniform, we both would have approached him for small talk, but that costume just scared the SHIT out of me - and turned me on at the same time!

We would get closer glimpses of his biceps, eyes, hair....(and "packaging") on our occasional trips for extra condiments. Neither of us had camera phones which is another regret, but Alpha Hunk is permanently imprinted into our memory!! **sigh** icon_smile.gif

The day came to a close as 5 o'clock reached nearer. We said our goodbyes and made arrangements to meet up with all the other Texas RJ members in Austin later this month. I TOTALLY recommend all other SA guys come as well!!

This is probably the best testimonial I have ever read. Ever! Talk about being RJ-verified... to a new level! xx

Well, if it's anything albeit less cyber and more personal, I call Kinetic from time to time to goss about RJ guys! hahahahahahah!!!

I really wish that all of the active RJ forum contributors have a facebook account for each member to be defined by the relationship he has with his real-life (tangible) mates. It makes trusting easier.

I'm sure *bleep* and *bleep, bleep* will agreeicon_wink.gif

. My nieces post the most on my Facebook, that is how I find out what is going in their lives (and who their friends are).

Ahhhh, that is so sweet. My mom is well interesting. In her prime she was like a summer day in Kansas. Bright blue skies one day, tornado the next. "Hell on wheels" is the way she described herself. She is 83 now, and has slowed down considerably, but she can still talk most people under the table!

I was just joking about my mother, although I am really close with my parents. Closer now that I'm in Toronto than when I lived back home, but that's probably only because I haven't lived there for 8 years and have grown up quite a bit since then.

But we've hijacked poor Jadamos thread.

Txguy1605 does seem like a great guy. It warms my aging gay heart to know that there are young gay guys coming up behind me that seem happy and well-adjusted. A nice change from my generation.icon_biggrin.gif

This meet would have never happened, but txguy1605 gave me a second chance.

I was out with my date (txguy1605's co-worker) at The Candlelight for wine and eats. Txguy1605 texted a reminder about our meeting that night...which I totally forgot since I had a FULL day's of activities on Sat. and no sense of time.

I had to meet up with my Chain of Command Leather Men for the F.U.C.R Academy Run. (Yes, I am into the Leather scene these days...surprising?)icon_cool.gif

Since those guys took up most of my day, I felt I needed to give my date some alone time, he and I.

I quickly asked txguy1605 if Sunday would be possible, and Voila!...he agreed!

Also, a cool fact about txguy1605...he knows fluent sign language. I found that out when a deaf man asked for pocket change by handing me a small note. Txguy1605 initiated a quick conversation with him...and yes, the man was legit.icon_wink.gif

lol. it wasn't as simple as "voila, he agreed," though. what did i reply to you first? I think it was along the lines of "maybe another time..." i did get a little discouraged at first but i thought, what the heck, i'll give u a 2nd chance. if it had happened a second time THEN i would have made up my mind about you :-P

but you did come through the next day and I'm glad u did, i had a ton of fun icon_smile.gif

TXGuy is basically a nice guy, though he is a bit on the superficial side. This could be because he is young, I dont know.
