There is only one way to get over a hangover and that is to have 2 or 3 more drinks.

Vitamin Water, advil, and possibly a shot; eightyfive percent of a hangover is dehydration, the rest is depletion of vitamins (mostly B vitamins). A shot or two takes the edge off.. Embrace the bloody Mary within!

The best cure is to avoid in the first place. You know what your limit is... and if you need to go to work, I'd suggest you stay under...LOL

Sugar will help to metabolize alcohol. Drink water. If you're shakey, do a "hair of the dog that bit you" and take a shot, or two, to relieve the DTs.

The saying goes, "You have to feed a hangover." Get your blood sugar up. Eat something sweet.

Exercise will help to burn off the alcohol, too.

Drink water. Many times, hangovers are dehydration.

    Vitamin C tablets; grapefruit juice.

From my experiences the better quality the alcohol the less chance of being hungover or feeling sick the next day.

My routine for curing a hangover is a very large Gatorade and Goody's Headache Powder.

But eating is the best way to completely get rid of the hangover. Something nice and unhealthy!

a nice greasy bacon cheeseburger with fries. and water water water.

I have also read that eating the greasy food BEFORE also cuts down the hangover as well. In addition to aspririn and a bottle of water BEFORE you pass out. So, for the future if you have a slice of pizza or two, go out, get loaded, and then take two aspirin and drink a bottle of water before you go to bed, your hangover will be far less severe, if at all.

Drink less? BOO I say! BOO!

    Water. Ibuprofen.

If that doesn't work, THEN step up to hair of the dog!

Where I'm from we use this as the main anti-hangover cure:

    01416.jpg

One bottle of this stuff and you're peachy. If you have a Russian or Armenian or Romanian store or something else Eastern European in your area you might be able to get it.

My parents swear by this.. they always did it and it worked.

If you had beer, drink one. If you had tequila or vodka, take a shot of that.

Drink whatever is that you are hung over from. Good luck!

You're alone there chemmac. Ha ha. It's all these Christmas parties!

Honestly my tried and true remedy, as long as you're not queasy, is to workout. Exercise helps you sweat out the toxins and feel better. Bananas and eggs in the morning help too because the bananas replenish your potassium and the eggs are good protein.
