Does anyone know if Madonna ever made a music video to "Rescue Me"? Here's the one I produced in 1992 with friends from college. Gotta like that hot shirtless guy Jim in it. Perfect hot body with awesome legs. Woof! Enjoy

lol...this is your video, Ive watched this many times before because there seems to be no official video even though the song was released and I think went top 20. I think its one of her most underrated songs and I actually like she sings in such a deep register. Nice job with the video

I agree, it's such a fantastic song and the lyrics I think fit a lot of us:

You see that I am hungry for a life of understanding
And you forgive my angry little heart when she's demanding
You bring me to my knees while I'm scratching out the eyes
Of a world I want to conquer, and deliver, and despise

There are some funny stories behind the making of this:

    1. The girl, Christine, never met the dancers. I filmed her part in Troy, MI, and the dancers under an overpass in Okemos, MI.

    2. Every time I decided I wanted more sex in the video I told Jim to take his shirt off.

    3. In the scene where the female dancer pulls the top part of his singlet down, I said "pull it down like you're peeling a banana."

    4. As the two dancers lead up to the kissing scene, there is actually a six-month distance between the shot before they kiss and when they kiss. I got the idea for the kiss after editing for a bit. So we had to go back to the Okemos train underpass, rewater down the walls, and do the kiss. The female dancer was then afraid to do it because her boyfriend (not the guy in the video) wanted her not to do it. I talked to her and told her it was only acting.

When they kissed, I told him to plant it on her as fast as he could, just jump in and smack it on her. After they kissed for like 30 seconds straight (shot in one take with me walking around them with the camera) they shyly parted and wiped off their mouths. It was funny. I don't think you can kiss someone, even in pretend, without eventually feeling something.

    5. I went back to the underpass by myself to shoot more shots of water pouring over the edge. My car was vandalized (kicked in the side) by two lovers who I interrupted.

Interesting. Would like to see an update of what everyone else's experience was like. Where are they now?

Christine (the lip-syncher) I guess got married recently. Jim, the hot dancer, is a very successful sports and fitness director. He actually helped me find a BJJ school who could talk about gay bashing for my wrestling documentary. Gayle, the female dancer, I have not been able to track down. She was pretty cool!

So much better than Vogue! Unfortunately the absence of a video almost erases it from memory. icon_sad.gif

Love the song. It would've gone to #1 if Warner Bros. had released the single at the right time, too, but they waited too long.

I actually did an extended version to the Titanic Vocal teaser, very hot. Make sure you watch the whole thing past credit text.

It's a windows media player file. Look at Jim while he makes a prayer stance with his hands. HOT HOT chest.
