If you're still growing, how tall are you now and how much taller do you want to be?

Thank god I'm not growing anymore, I don't think I could handle it if I grew another sixteenth of an inch. icon_confused.gif

At my age I think the height has stopped and the gravity is pushing down on me forcing me to expand from left to right! But I'm fighting it...damn it, I'm fighting it!

I wish I was still growing but doctor said when I was 5'4'' I'd be lucky to grow another inch.. At 5'5'' I've learned to cherish my cute/shortness

ROFL, us too. Yoga exercises have changed some of that by reversing the compressions of age + gravity.

I stopped growing some years ago and love being 5'11. It's the perfect height because I'm not short nor extremely tall and I'm above average in comparison to most Americans and the rest of the world. And I honestly don't have a true desire to be any taller.

Still growing, but outward! I was too short for runway back in the day so I still wish I were just a couple inches taller, say 6'2". For your edification - eagermuscle clothed!:

I'd love to grow another inch or two. Though I doubt that will ever happen. Oh well.

The trick against compression is to spend a lot of time horizontal, try that with Doug icon_redface.gif

My dad and I used to be the same height. Now he is probably a couple inches shorter than me. He swears I'm getting taller. I don't think so - he's shrinking. But if I could be taller I think maybe just another inch or two so I was over six feet.

6'1". I seem to have grown a bit int he last year, even though I thought I was done. I don't want to grow anymore. I like being tall (it's convenient when I'm at a concert, or there's a tall shelf), but travelling when you are over 6' is not convenient. Especially in a lot of other countries where they just don't expect passengers to be that tall.

I'm 6'1.5 but would rather be 5'10 or so.

Shorter guys are just hotter, and they pack on muscle better.

With my current injuries preventing me from doing any serious lifting, I'm gonna be looking like a stick figure for the coming few years.

I wish I could grow a few more inches. I just really like the height 6'2"...

    But I have been 6' since I was like 14 so I don't think its possible... icon_sad.gif

As a person who is 6'5", I can attest to the difficulty of packing on muscle (and keeping it). While being tall does have its benefits, finding shoes that fit and decent clothes in my size can be a pain.

I'm 21 and 6ft tall. I think I've stop growing ever since my fryeshman year in college. Shorter guys seem to pack on muscle alot faster than I can.

Im proof that it's possible to grow well into your 30's. I can remember quite clearly I was 6ft even on my 30th bday, and wore a size 11 shoe.

Fast forward 4 years, Im now 6ft3, and wear a 13 or 14 (depending on brand). I still dont know how it happened, but I like it. icon_wink.gif

Boys stop growing at a bone age of 16 years. Some continue to grow (height) until about 19, maybe 20 years, but most do it in their late teens.

Um, then maybe you're looking for NAMBLA's forums and not realjock's?
