"Taking his message directly to voters in key battleground states, President Obama on Monday invited reporters from four local news stations in Ohio, Iowa, Florida and Colorado to the White House to talk about the economy and his tax-cut package. During a sit-down with Adam Schrager of Colorado's KUSA on Monday, the president acknowledged that he has not delivered on one of his biggest campaign promises -- changing the way Washington does business.

"No, I don't think there's a sense that I've been successful. I think people feel that Washington still is dysfunctional," he said. "I think people still feel that overall, Washington is about a lot of politics and special interests and big money, but that ordinary people's voices too often aren't represented, and so my hope is that we're going to continue rebuilding a trust in government." "

I truly believe he is authentic in his belief system.

He reminds me more of a College professor than a leader.

He allowed this messiah movement to build behind him. But in defense of his recent political moves to get the economy moving, his progressive Allys are gnawing at his carcass for making a political deal.

    AS IF....

Even from my political point of view, some of his critics should give him a break. The members of Congress who are criticizing him promised to have the most "Transparent Congress" in history. Nearly every bill came up on rule suspension with little amendment. And more pork, earmarks and backroom deals than ever.

I want him to be a successful President. I just want his progressive policies to fail.

    Oh don't worry, he's failing.

I wish we could have a vote of no confidence and get him pit of there. I'd rather have Biden.

He'll be reelected (even though he has largely been unsuccessful) because no credible Democrat will run against him, and the Republicans will nominate a Fascist, like Sarah Palin.

We should have gone with Hillary...
