Is there such a thing as bisexual?

I know many claim to like both sexes but really, isn't that only because they feel pressured by the society so they continuously deny their real sexuality so they can integrate better?

I know that almost every married "bisexual" cheats on his wife with a man. Why not with another woman? Why they need a man so badly when they like women and are very pleased by them?...

When will I see a "bisexual" cheat on his man with a woman?...Maybe never, because they all live with a woman and I mean all. I never saw a "bisexual" living with a man and cheating on him with a woman. So I guess it is the society thing, huh?

One day i met such a person. He was claiming to be a "bisexual". So I asked him: "Are you then an exclusive top?".
Then he made me laugh by saying that he is an exclusive bottom.
Then I said that he is versatile then. "Oh, no no silly" he said "I am only bottom".

I mean, really, are you bottoming for your wife also?...

He said he wants to feel the penis of a man inside him. So i said, why bother having a wife, get yourself a man and have his penis inside you every day.
He said it's impossible, how would he look in the society and in his family.
He told me to get a wife and make kids to give a good image to my family and friends.

Then I said that he was using his wife only as a human shield. "You got a wife, made two kids and then divorced to raise two kids without their mother only to appear normal?"

That's when he ended the discussion and walked away.

To me it does not make any sense....

Please, please, please, all of you who have kids, do not feel offended. I know you love them, i think that having kids is the most amazing thing and I would like that also, but is that really what you wanted, a woman?
Why after the divorce you always look for a male partner and not a female?

If you'd asked me that two months ago, I woulda said "no."
But in the past two months I've watched a guy who used to have a boyfriend and identify as gay, drop his bf and "turn bisexual" to advance in the company...to the point of making more than me (I was the highest paid).

So yeah, after seeing that first-hand, I do think "bisexual" is just an excuse to fit in with society.

If you were in a situation where partying, going to strip clubs, and being buddy-buddy with the boss would get you promoted, would you be more likely to "touch" (or do more with) a woman just to prove to the boss that you're not "really" gay, but just bi?

Really, really, come on now really???

Im bi... Not what society deems more acceptable, but in today's society it's more acceptable to be gay... It's all over media,'it's in your face... I'm the minority in this forum.... I actually was in a relationship with two dear friends a of mine simultaneously one was male the other female... I was in a 5 year relationship with a woman who I loved dearly and never thought of cheating... When I am with someone I never cheat... Why is cheating coming up in the first place? What does that have to do with being bi?

20 years ago when I came out and told my mother I was bi she got angry with me and said, "NO!, I refuse to accept it. You have to choose." She gave me a choice??? I did not understand...

I can't help who I am attracted to male or female. I just finished dating a 21 year old male and starting to see a 26 year old female...

Why do bisexuals have to be questioned?

that is too complex a thought for some people to grasp, charlitos, so i just say "no, and homosexuals are just guys too ugly to get a date."

Then I kick whoever is asking in the nards and piss on him.

I lose more friends that way.

This question keeps coming up and I think I know why. It's because some gay men do what BuckYou stated, they get a wife to serve as a human shield.

It muddies perceptions about what is Bi and what isn't.

If you have to force yourself and only succeed with women by fantasizing in your head about men, you're gay.

Charlitos' post is a win. icon_wink.gif

I think some people say being bi (which I'm not) is being greedy, I think you can't help who you like whether you like women or men or both. It's ones preference and to each his own. We have no right to ask why you like so and so because its none of our business who that person happens to like.

I'm attracted to men and women , both emotionally and sexually...and it's nothing to do with general society. That's like saying you are straight because society dictates it's the "norm." You can't help who you are attracted too, and if that means both men and women, then I don't see how that has anything to do with social contraints. Sexuality is based off of natural instinct, not a socially learnt ideology.

I think sexuality is very complex and some people are genuinely bisexual just as some are strictly gay or straight.

    Well said...

I don't know, it feels as if bisexuals don't get support from the gay or straight community...

When a woman is bi, a lot of men think that's fucking hot. Where as if men are bisexual its considered "TABOO"....

Ok, but isn't "straight" the norm? I'm confused...

Some of my friends claim to be bi-sexual because they say that they are not stigmatized as much as if they only claimed to be gay. As far as I know they have never been with a woman but if you ask...they are not gay..they are bi-sexual.

Years ago ( early 80's) Nashville, Tennessee had what the owners of the station called it's very first gay radio station. After a few weeks went by, they quickly changed to a bi-sexual radio station due to negativity from the surrounding community. I still remember listening to the station once time when a caller asked the DJ " How can you be gay when there are so many good-looking women out there?" icon_rolleyes.gif

That's because woman are inferior and don't know any better. Welcome to the Judea-Christians. A lot of girls think it's hot when guys make out. A lot of girls watch gay porn too. Before Kinsey I was assumed that masturbation was abnormal, many people thought it would make you blind. The wheel turns.
