I notice I seen to have like chubbiness on my face, even though I'm in pretty decent shape. I am 20 years old. I am told that will go away with age. But on a side note my friend told me he used to have that same problem and then he started watching his salt intake and carb intake and actually now his face is pretty defined.

Is it true that salt and carbs can swell the face?

Also I am kind of sick of having this anyone have any ideas? It doesn't bother me that much , but I feel I am inshape I want people to be able to see that in my face too.

I don't see any baby fat in your face, although it's hard to tell with pictures. You do have predominant cheekbones, which is a good thing.

We tend to be our own worst critic. I say don't be so hard on yourself.

Screw time, I am still waiting dude, once you find out let me know, I feel exactly the same way. Freaking having a baby face is annoying, I grew facial hair to appear older and still I get the whole your a baby. Its different when your the one that has it, most people say well your lucky and all that crap, and more of you will love it when your 30 still being carded, umn I know how old I am and love my age, I'm not a dilusional person trying to appear younger, I'm fine with ageing. Salt and Carbs, well that sounds alright to cut just to try. And screw the whole Lipo advice, I get that and think I rather not, if like was that easy.....well damn you get my point. Cool topic posting dude.

Okay, this is nuts. You both have extremely good-looking faces. If you want people to see how hot your body is, wear a mesh shirt. Or sleeveless. Don't screw around with liposuction. That is insane.

You're a kid! You still have a lot of growing up to do and trust me ... you will look a lot different in your face when you get older.

The baby face will mature. You look great and quit making mountains out of molehills! icon_razz.gif

I know it seems not to be like that big of a deal, but it does bother alot of people and myself. It also is like whenever I'm trying to gain muscle and gain some fat with it, it goes right to my face. I believe its a genetic thing cause basically everyone on my dad's side has chubbier faces.

I am going to tell you something that my dear old Great Grandma Irma told me when I was younger. She was full of sane and wise words.

    Listen carefully now ...

GET OVER IT! There are others things in life to worry about!

If everyone on your fathers side has chubbier faces, then it obviously is a family trait and something you're just going to have to live with.

Rather than focus on the things you wish were different, try to remember what you love about yourself. If you didn't have a so-called baby face (I don't really see it, but whatever), you may not have been blessed with those lips of yours (which look great, by the way).

dude, you have a great face. if i were to describe it from your pics i would even say more chiseled with great cheekbones.

don't fret over this. but you are at that age where everything about yourself will bother you. when i was your age i truly stressed over the silliest things about myself. i know this is very real to you and this advice probably isn't helping. but you'll outgrow these thoughts.

I think that guys with a bit of fat in their face but defined bodies are incredibly good looking. So its all in the eye of the beholder I guess.

I think going by your picture there are several things here:

    1) Youthful good looks

    2) You seem to have quiet a square jaw but your neck is not that big so work on this a little http://www.exrx.net/Muscles/TrapeziusUpper.html

    3) Hydration: looking at your eyes, no offence here, but they seem a little sunken often a sign of dehydration. But when you are dehydrated the body strives to retain as much water as possible hence a puffy face, non visible abs etc

    4) linking onto the above lack of sleep is another factor that will not do great for tightening the skin

thx for your advice bfg1 I appreciate it. One of the reason I do not have a bigger neck is because i never do exercises for it. I was advised not to cause I sing and this can negatively interact with the muscles used to sing.

I will agree with the hydration and sleep definitely. Thanks alot.

Do you want to look like Cher or something?
I know, you want to look like Eric Roberts.
Whatever, looking like either would make you totally shaggable in my opinion.

Besides, what is wrong with looking like a baby??
    Babies are cute!!

Baby face means you look young. Baby fat means you are young but not muscular. Fat face means you are fat.

This is true. Look at someone like David Beckham who has not got much fat on his face. His face already looks quite drawn.

Another way to stay looking young is to stay in playing video games while everyone else is out playing frisbee in the park icon_redface.gif
