Aggieboy saidDo you believe that true love can really overcome all obstacles in a relationship? If both partners are truly in love?
If you don't believe this, what kinds of obstacles can't be overcome?
I hate when people quote in these forums, but this far down I'm not sure if you'd know what I was responding to.
Love conquering all is a familiar Hollywood theme, and the basis of most Harlequin Romance novels.
There's a line from Manhattan Murder Mystery where Woody Allen turns to his wife and says "We should move to Mexico and sell blankets off the hood of a car."
When you're willing to move to the North Pole, or wherever it takes, just so you can be together and stay together, that's true love.
If we didn't believe that was possible, those of us looking for love would have given up long ago, and jumped off of the ship.
