alright so ill make this brief, broke up with boyfriend this past summer after a year of dating. its safe to say we're still crazy about each other and have started to date again a few weeks ago. it is nothing serious (yet) but there are definite changes in the way we date. For the most part, this time around im more aggressive, when we first met i was dating more openly and treated him like i treated most people. usually call if i felt like it but kept busy. recently he told me he needs more air between us, for a week ive been doing it and he says he feels like he enjoys missing me and having to pursue me, instead of being pursued.

i dont know how to not be the aggressor, other than to make myself careless but i dont want to date anyone else.. thoughts? opinions?

Just do exactly what you said... when you feel like it, see each other once in a while but not all the time...

I mean let him chase you, what's wrong with that? But it should be mutual... He's chases a bit, then you get to chase... You don't have to be the aggressive.. Just enjoy dating one another. He needs more air, let him have it..... Sometimes people get so caught up and infatuated during the early stages of dating then all of a sudden they need a break... You don't have to be around someone every signal minute for them to appreciate and like who you are.

My ex-girlfriend put it to me best... Distance makes the heart grow fonder, If you do that, then things will come together...

Sorry, I just don't get it: are you in a relationship or fuck buddies?
He just calls when he's horny? I would be calling all the time; three times on Sunday.
I guess I'm just old fashioned: if I'm in love with someone I want to be with them as much as possible. I get it if you don't have jobs or anyhing going on in your life's separately...that would be boring.
