Why does it seem like such a good idea once a year? Then after you've had that second piece you want to purge?!

That's why I never get the buckets. Whenever I get cravings for KFC, I just get the chicken sandwich or the chicken strips.

Tasted it once when I was around 18, spit that taste out and never tasted it again. That said I'm not a fan of chicken or any fowl actually regardless of how it's prepared.

    THIS!!!

Popeyes tastes like it is cooked better, less greasy, and the chicken skin is a guilty as sin (but so good).

I love great pan fried chicken - but I really can't eat KFC anymore - it just makes me ill.

Our local James Beard award chicken joint is Stroud's - there motto is "we choke our own chickens."
    Seriously.

As a snack I sometimes get the boneless fillets. They are 22g of protein each and only 7 g of carbs (they are fairly lightly breaded) and only 7 g of fat (hard to believe because they are deep fried, but thats what they say). Within the realm of fast food, its hard to beat that.

F*&% KFC. Popeyes if you are going with a chain but I prefer to go to the hood and find crack chicken if I am going to indulge.
