    32 minutes
    5.11km.

looks slow , and it is BUT
picture a very twisty snowy trail , going up 2.5km with some very steep ( 30% ) sections .

it feels good to be back on the endurance stuff again. Been cutting back to try increasing lean mass . I'm now aiming at trimming excess fat at nearly 190 pounds ( went from 178 in early september ) .
Xcountry skiing is also on the menu icon_smile.gif

To xass, running in snow sounds like fun. I have never since I am from LA. I have had the opportunity before, but I am too afraid I will slip. We have a lot of wet snow. I don't want a broken hip.

To New Orleans, shut the fuck up. For future reference, don't read posts titled "running log". See ya at Decadence.

Yeah, taking about running on a fitness site... what kind of sick bastard does that?

Xassantex, you are far better person than I. Whenever I am up north I can bring myself to go running in the cold.

NOBODY cares? Lovely.. can you arrange a date ?
btw, it's " the only thing more boring than ... "
not " the only more thing boring than.. "

you have to watch those things man, i'm so easily confused.

    ----

yeah, snow can be either fun or a complete nightmare . When it's hard packed, with decent traction, even if you sink a little it's a good workout , like today .
But when you feel you step 4 feet forward and then 6 inches backward, it gets annoying fast.

-5C is not cold while running monkeypuck , you dress lightly and soon enough you generate major heat. but when you get back, the hot shower does feel good, ;)

bostonhopeful : you do have a point with slippery conditions. Wet snow is ok, but when you get ice covered with loose snow, beware. I have crashed a few times, lol. You can always insert pillows in your tights...lol.

Maine , does snow stay in NC ? awesome state.. went mtbiking there, TSali -Lake Fontana area.. blue ridge .. icon_smile.gif I have kind of a snake phobia , so i was a bit paranoid i'd get attacked by armies of copper heads and water mocassins,,haha.

snapshot with my phone as i reached the top at dusk. moon rising , started down where you see the village.

I have to take some days off since I contracted a nasty stomach flu. While I feel good today. I will try running tomorrow instead.
