now i'm twenty five, a year closer to my 30's and dang! don't i feel frustrated!

Happy birthday. If it helps, 25 was the only birthday to date that I had any real "feelings" about. It was the first time that I really was able to use the word "century" in reference to my age. I was, after all, 1/4 of a century old...

There is still lots of time to live your life... when you exclude the first 16 years of your life when you were still in school, figuring out what life was, and under the direction of your parents and teachers, you have only "lived" for 9 years.

25 was really rough for me.

Fast forward a few years and I feel comparatively amazing.

Carly, stop regretting shit. Life is made up of good and bad experiences. Learn from them and make your next year better...and the next...and the next...etc. etc. etc.

Happy Birthday! Now bend over for your spanking because you've obviously been a bad boy. icon_twisted.gif

You can't do it all but you've got a good start.
Now get out in public and try not to fart!

    Happy Birthday!

Enjoy yourself and go for what is important to you. You haven't run out of chances yet.

You're getting older by the minute, and more miserable. Unhappy birthday to you. Seems that the path you've chosen today.

You're absolutely right in saying that you're not getting any younger. You're also right in saying your regrets.

So that you don't have to be miserable next time you have a birthday, today is the first day of the rest of your life, and you can start working on the awful person that you say you are today. Good luck.

Next year, at this time, hopefully, you won't be so needy of affirmation from strangers online. Now, get going.

Perhaps, as a benefit of growing older, you will realize, that YOU decide if you want to be miserable, or happy, or anywhere in between. Today, you chose whiny, but, hopefully as you mature, you'll make better choices.

There you go, Chucky said it all. You choose who you are. Have a happy birthday, shake off the blues, you're young and have so much more to live and give, make your birthday the day to start!

Happy birthday. If tried looking the struggles from diffrent prespective maybe yo won't be sooo depressed. You are a much stronger person for having made to the other side yes! That's a success in and of it's self.

YOU'RE 25 years old not 30 why are you stressing about that! LIVE for today but plan for your future. What do you think is going to happen whe you turn 30 which is a whole five years away? The is not "Logan's Run" you weren't alive when that move came out.
In short it was a futuristic-planet where when you turned 30 you were killed.
that's not the case or else I would have died 17 years ago.

I still do all the things I did when I was in my twenties at 47 years old. I go out dancing on a regular basis, it's not thing for me to get on the dance floor and go out by myself. If you live your life in a box and by what you believe our superficial community say you should live then you are not living.

carly, i can truthfully say that i am happier, more confident and at ease with myself and the world surrounding me at twice your age than i was then.

look FORWARD to the future and enjoy what it brings you!!

I have never understood why people are so worried about getting older. If you are only twenty-five, you have plenty of time left to live your life. If you feel that you haven't really done anything yet, then go do something today. What's holding you back? It upsets me when people worry about turning 30, 40, 50 etc because there are little kids dying of cancer or have spent a lot of their lives in a hospital battling cancer. They would be happy to trade places with you in a heart beat. Some people can only dream about turning 30 and would be so happy if they were able to. You should be grateful for every day and year you are here. No matter what age you are, you should rock every year of your life!!!
