I don't understand why pop artists are making house music.

i must respectfully disagree with you kind sir. it isn't garbage. it is trite and a good example of how autotune is used to cloak the lack of any genuine artistic merit.

at one point, garbage did have a use before it was discarded. this track however... icon_rolleyes.gif

lol....and beyond the autotune its the forced use of "fuckin" to sell interest or downloads. Sure a f bomb here or there is ok, Im certainly no prude but when you use it as part of the chorus...I wonder what Julio thinks?

I totally agree. The song is definitely catchy, but the F-bomb as the chorus is, in my opinion, a tacky and cheap way to try and get a buzz about a record. I'm disappointed that Enrique needed to stoop to that level to sell his music. I'm sure it will get loads of club play, but it shows absolutely no class at all.

And the majority of America is so insipid they'll buy it. The same people who listened to Britney Pop shit suddenly love "techno" music now. But on the flip side maybe there's a lot more producers now who used to go to raves in the 90s and they're getting their style filtered in to pop music. I'll admit, the pop music now in America is WAY better than it was 10 years ago. It just really annoys me when some fuckwad obsessed with pop crap suddenly loves something remixed by Deadmau5 just because it's pop now. It's like being friends with someone only if they become popular.

    Bleah.

Not terribly impressed; methinks Enrique could do better than this.

The pop music now is just auto-tune, talking about be drunk, go to clubs, f**k with everyone.

Now the songs need to have in the lyrics --- "Put the hands..."

    Boom Boom Pow
    California Gurls
    Party in the USA
    Single Ladies
    In The Ayer
    Yeah X3
    Dynamite
    TiK ToK

    They are more...

Before only the best songs go to the Top 10, now only the most auto-tune song with a chorus get in the Top 10. Is a stupid evolution now a artist just make 2 "good" songs and the rest is crap, cuz now everything is about singles sales. Enrique Iglesias (Jersey Shore) now is a digital single artist at least he still is the Enrique Iglesias in the Spanish market.

Disclaimer- I enjoy classical Music and think Beethoven is indisputably greatest musician in the history of man. Therefore, it should be no surprise if I join in the bashfest. However, this music is clearly appreciated by a good number of people, and I'm sure the songwriters, artists, musicians, and synthesizers all put in some good work in producing this piece of music. Although it does not soothe my tastes, I appreciate that there are others who will find it enjoyable. As such, I reserve critic of the music to its overuse of the F bomb. It is not trash. It does have artistic merit, whether or not you all as listeners can detect that merit is of no consequence. A piece of music disagreeing with our tastes does not equal trash/ vapid demonization. The song is fun and catchy.

JAKEBENSON ive been asking this question for a while now. All of the sudden every song is techno/house. i can't find a club/bar that will play more than that now. everyone wants to fist pump, take e and hop around with their heads hanging down while having their eyes closed and their hair is flopping all around. The song is alright at best, doesnt sound like anything new or good to me, but that's my opinion. Its gonna be one of those songs where the DJ turns off the music at "tonight im fucking you" just to be cute and have people say "he's cool." sorry but NEXT

Not the best pop tune I have ever heard, but you can be sure every dance club in the country, gay and straight will be playing this song, count on it! I also agree Enrique can do much better.
