Can't that be said of any man though?

What constitutes a "less than masculine moment"? Showing affection for another man?

There's a great leather/bear bar in Charlotte-pretty masc clientele. Had a blast there once.

I have to say that this site has the most sane, drama free guys/posts of any I have been on... This might be a pretty good source for you.

This is my experience exactly - men that frequent this site tend to be more masculine than gay men in general.

Ask yourself why it matters if a man is a masculine. I'll be interested if you have an answer you would care to post.

By men that you can't tell are gay off the bat do you mean men that when they kiss their boyfriends follow it up by shouting "not homo?"

Are you looking for a closet-case?
    Are you after someone straight-acting?

The jocks you want are at the gym or sports clubs. The problem for you is that you can't tell they're gay and they don't want anyone to know either, so you'll never know it when they're right in front of you.

I wouldn't recommend it! Church guys are a bit toxic.

Stick to the sports bars and turning on Grindr or something of that nature.

I tried going to a gay sports bar, but then I realized they weren't into sports but instead just liked to go out dressed in sports gear... I have had some success finding more masc guys on okcupid, but I am only interested in dating not hookups... also all guys are less then masc at times in their lives, after all I saw my buddy cry when the bitch he has dated for 4 years broke up with him 2 weeks ago... and he is one of the most straight acting guys you will ever meet, o wait he is straight.

Gay guys are everywhere. If you want masculine gay guys then you need to put yourself into masculine situations and conduct yourself with confidence.

This is def a good question. I've wondered this many times. I am out to my parents so I don't think it so much about being in the closet. I'm a pretty chill guy. The last guy that I dated was very flamboyant. It made me feel uncomfortable. It just seems like a lot of the outwardly gay guys are flamboyance and enjoy being surrounded by a lot of drama. That's just not my thing. One of my female friends is totally flamboyant too and it makes me uncomfortable sometimes. Maybe its my insecurity. Maybe its just a preference. I like sports, hiking, fishing and stuff. Most of my friends who are straight share my interests. Most of the gay guys that I have met (outside of RJ) don't. After all this self- analyzing, I have to say that I think its just my preference.

flamboyance draws attention and there is a great difference in what you term a masculine guy. I have met guys who are shy quiet and quite masculine, until they speak or show a certain movement that neons them...But I agree with some of the posters.....guess its just a matter of personal preference.....I love them all, short, queer and tall, straight actin' and play actin, ones that wink, and I love a twink, the steve mcqueens and the flaming queens..................there's something in them all ...............Keithicon_cool.gif

Yeah Vet, I love 'em all too. I mean, I've dated a ton of different types. I'm not sure yet what my type is for romantic interest but I know what kind of guy turns me on the fastest and I know what type of guy I identify with in terms of friendship.
