I bought my boyfriend a watch a few weeks ago for his birthday and I haven't seen him wear it yet...

It's a pretty classy, simple piece -- nothing too crazy. He said he liked it and it fit well....

How do you think I can casually ask him to strap it on for a date night out, to the office or the like?

I know he would look even more handsome sporting it, but don't want to annoy him as it was a gift - what do you guys think?

Do you wear a watch yourself? Or does your BF?

i gave my bf a nice watch a few years ago and he wears it every day. this year i got gift receipts because, as i said to him, we do not have money to waste on gifts we wont use. but he says he likes everything. icon_biggrin.gif

sportsguy, if your guy doesnt like the gift he might be too discreet to say so. i would watch to see if he wears it, but dont make a big deal if he doesnt. as you get to know each other better, you'll get a stronger idea of his tastes and preferences. icon_wink.gif
also, yeah, watches arent kinda necessary nowadays, so if he didnt wear one before, is could be he just doesnt like them...
