    is Lisa Murkowski.

And she's finally going to be certified the winner of the Alaska U.S. Senate seat that the teabagger Joe Miller failed to win.
Given the fact that she was one of the handful of non-anti-gay Republicans who voted to repeal DADT, the fact that she is the winner of this AK Senate seat is cause for celebration.

IF ONLY all Republicans were as sane and moderate as Ms. Murkowski.

They need to multiply, and crush the religious right extremist majority of the Republican party into extinction.
I hope it happens in my lifetime, but I'm not holding my breath.

i have always been on her side since the beginning. Joe seemed to have little to go on beyond Palin's support and the tea party. Glad she will stay in the Senate and I hope she continues to vote moderately conservative!
