Would it be strange if you dated somebody with the same first name?

    Nope not really

I have a two good friends I hangout with both of which are name Andy like me. When all three of us hang out we never get confused with which "Andy" we call on when we are talking to each other. So I guess it would be the same if I was in a relationship with the same name.

I shared my first college apartment with two other guys who had the same first name as me. We really screwed with people answering the phone. Friends called us by numbers. A few of them still do.

My bf's name is John, mine is Don and we're always enduring the snicker of 'Oh how cute, John and Don, that rhymes'. I can't image if we were both Johns or Dons...damn.

I dated another Tim for awhile, it wasn't really an issue.

The fact he kissed like a Pez Dispenser was more upsetting.

I dated someone with the same name was me. All was great until the ASSHOLE spontaneously stopping talking to me. (Click here for thread with details http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/1287017) Now I have no faith in men. In fact, I've gone a whole 23 days without sex. I know it doesn't seem like a lot. But considering I'm a slut...or was up until now, that's a human lifespan to me.

I went on a couple dates with a guy named Jeff, but the really funny thing was we had the same middle name and last initial was also the same, JRK.

I've dated a Mike before and didn't really have many issues with it. And I went to a dance in HS with a girl named Lynn (which is actually my first name, lol). I find that I have more issues with dating a guy with the same name as my brothers

yourname2000 saidI used to work at a commissioned sales store with 17 employees and 8 of us were named David. After losing way too many sales to customers coming in saying "I was just speaking to David..." I quickly changed to my middle name.

I've met a few same named couples and I thought it was really cute (first thought was 'how vain' to go for a guy with your own name but quickly realized this was a dumb thought.)

What's weirder to me is folks who name their kids similarly...like Rod & Todd Flanders. But then breeders often freak me out (even when they're cartoons.)

A friend that used to live in Ann Arbor, counted the number of gay Davids he found. He got over 100 and deduced if your named David, you are most likely gay. icon_smile.gif
