Which pre-workout supplement is better? I've used a few jars of NoXplode, and I love it...but I've heard great things about Jack3d too.

    Anyone use Jack3d?

Question for you guys, I've heard great things about jack3d also, I would like to try it, what's the best flavor and what do you think a good cost is? (Amazon has it like 23-29.00, depending on the flavor)

Jack3d by far. It's the best supplement I've ever used. I spent more time in the bathroom when I used NO-Explode.icon_rolleyes.gif

I forget what the flavor is called, but the label is blue. I'm assuming is tropical; smells and taste good.

Jack3d does not cause the stomach issues that N.O. causes. tastes much better, and you get a much better pump out of it. Add a good workout drink (Xtend) and you will feel great at the end of your workout. With an awesome pump..

Jacked and NoXplode require me to use like 2-3 scoops. 1MR just one and its more potent in the one scoop the 3 of those pre workout sups, just look it up on amazon stuff rocksicon_biggrin.gif

Ive been trying to put on weight for years (the curse of being 6'3 with a high metabolism) and have avoided at all cost using pre-workout supplements like Jack3ed and muscle gainer post workout supplements because i was told they are a waste of time because as soon as you stop them all the "muscle" you gained fades away within weeks, what you get is all for show... Im just wondering if i was misinformed and if there are more pluses to using them then minuses....

Maybe I need to try Jack 3d again, because the one time bought it, I just didn't get the best pump out of it. Maybe I wasn't taking enough? What's the recommended amount anyhow? It's def cheaper and everyone is talking about it positively so I think I should try it again maybe??

Do you guys use either NOxplode orJack 3d on non-workout days? I never do, most guys I talk to don't. Should I be taking it (like one scoop maybe) on non-workout days?

I used to purchase it online, but found a local retailer near me who sells if for $20 a jar. Online - cheapest I ever found was $25 - bodybuilding.com.

It really depends what you are looking to achieve. Many of the ingredients are the same but Jack contains a compound know as Dimethylamylamine which will help your endurance while lifting.

On the whole I think these Arginine loaded products are a waste of money. Yes they'll give you good pumps, but you'll shrink back down an hour after you work out.

My friend's had me try Jack3d, as i wasn't using a pre-workout drink before. I will say the difference in the intensity of my workouts is unbelievable. I have the white-blue raspberry flavor (the blue bottle) and I think it tastes bomb. I wouldn't say it is a myth, because I'm sure the extra weights I am lifting as well as the extended workout I can now get through are also helping me get my gains and not just the creatine that is also in it.

If you don't drink caffeine like me, and have a variable work/workout schedule, beware of taking this before a night workout if you have to get up early in the morning. I was up all night earlier this week on this stuff. haha

I'm now exclusively using N.O. Xplode after trying Muscle Warfare's Napalm and Jack3d. In order to get the same results from one scoop with N.O. and/or Napalm, I needed to use 3 scoops of Jack3d. for a 6-week cycle it was not worth it.

    +1!!!

NO xplode gave me countless stomach issues, which i have none of with jack3d, and the pump is intense and long lasting without being jittery. Im stacking with xtend as well, and ive seen amazing results in a little over a month!

I buy my supplements at bodybuilding.com. great prices, and prompt delivery.

Ok so after reading this, I went out to GNC and got myself a tub of Jack3d Lemon-Lime powder. (23 bucks on sale right now! not bad!) Tried it for the first time tonight, and I've got to say, the results were almost instantaneous and really impressive... and I'm a skeptic!!

I took it about 45 minutes before my workout. It's about a 25 minute drive to my gym, and en-route I noticed a bit of the 'tingling' people were talking about. Kind of annoying actually, and also felt a bit light headed? Might not be the best way to describe it, because I wasn't disoriented.. just felt like somebody put adrenaline into my brain-stem.

Anyway, got to the gym, DEMOLISHED my Cardio. The usual15 minutes on the spin bike felt like a joke! After that I went down to hit the weights (was pressed for time so didn't do all my cardio) First set, I picked up 5 lbs heavier for dumbell curls and didn't even blink. I felt 'steadier' as well. The weight still felt heavy, but I felt like I could control my motions better. Next i hit the Bench: same thing. No trembling in my triceps. Then abs - similar experience. felt like I could control my crunch much better and really blast the abs instead of cheating and using the lower back or legs. Shoulder, upper back flies, pull ups, lat. pull downs... all the same. I felt solid, steady, and firm in all my exercises! I seriously was impressed! That's all I can say.

And POST-workout, I feel great! No jitters, shakes, instability which sometimes I experience if it's a heavy day.. Oh and Also: I weigh myself mid-workout so I can kind of gauge my 'pump' if you will. Today I weighed in a 180 lbs! That's legitimately a full 5 lbs heavier than my mid weigh-in 2 days ago. I weigh in 175 almost religiously, and have for the past few weeks. Not gonna say it gained me 5 lbs of mass on the first day, but it definitely increased my pump!

Anyway, long post, but I honestly feel like I've noticed a considerable improvement and difference just after one day! I'll update again tomorrow and see if I'm still as convinced, but so far it's a very well-spent 23 bucks!

Oh, but also, being the economist that I am... there are two sides to everything.. so does anybody have any experience with negative side effects or bad reactions etc..? I'm hoping I don't explode tomorrow morning or get addicted etc...
