I don't have any new years plans so far... I'd love to have some though! What are you guys doing for New Years 2011? icon_twisted.gif

For the first time in a while I'm not caring at all to celebrate. My friend is inviting me and some of his other friends to his place for dinner. He expects everyone to leave and go to some stupid party later on. I'll just hang around and keep him company. This year sucked, and I don't anticipate 2011 getting better immediately. Plus...I mean 2011, what a dumb number. Who the hell invented that number? Is it even divisible by anything other than itself and 1? Fuck...now I really want to know. Is there a trick to finding out if a number is prime? God damn look at how quickly I went on a tangent. This is what happens when you take Target sleeping pills: you only get two hours of sleep. FML & F2011.

My twin and I were born on New Years day, so our tradition is to bring in the new year and our bday together. He's painfully shy and doesnt like to go out, so we always stay in with a few good friends.

Well, a couple of friends and I will most likely go to a restaurant for a late dinner then ring in the New Year with some wine or champagne then call it a night.

I will not go broke to ring in 2011!

Not 100% sure yet, but I think I am going to Athens, GA (where UGA is for those who don't know - big party town) and live it up and probably not remember everything.

If that falls through, probably just going to find a fun club in downtown Atlanta.

I need to find me a New Years kiss though, I don't have any prospect yet

Blew all my money on Christmas, so it's a quiet evening at home for me.

I wish I had something planned, but I'm working new year. Sucks, but next year I'll definitely do something.

Last year I was severely unemployed... For almost a year at that point. I didn't do anything... This year I'd love to have that kiss at midnight!

My mom is in the Philippines this year and my sister is too. My Dad is with my uncle at their apartment, so I have the house to myself in Toronto.

I have friends from Ottawa visiting family in Guelph, and a couple more friends from ottawa who are coming down for new years eve.

We plan on drinking (Kings!), playing boardgames (Scattergories, Taboo, Settlers of Catan, and Munchkins), and karaoke! Dan has Lips on XBox so he's bringing that, plus my family has a Karaoke machine...typical for filipinos...

Going to have an awesome new year! Last year I was in Montreal texting my now boyfriend how I wish I could kiss him for the new year, this year I get to do just that icon_biggrin.gif

No idea yet....may be spending it with my partner's family or with friends. NYE gets very crazy here so we generally avoid the big crowds. Will most likely go to someone's party if we don't spend it with family.

Nope, he's straight, though often accused of being the gay one, since he's so syrupy sweet and sensitive. And I dont consider myself hot, but we're identical in every way, except he's lean/slim at ~185 lbs.

I think you need to drive up from South Carolina and spend the night with me wrestling. I can't think of a better celebration. icon_wink.gif

Throwing the most ridiculous NYE event in Northern Nevada/Sierra Nevada region. My fourth year promoting this show, and we have over 500 presales already

    You're delusional...

I'm heading to a club near Ann Arbor called Necto. Never been, but I hope it's fun... I love to dance.

My Buddhist center is having our annual Tara meditation prayers.

Each session includes breathing meditation, chanted prayers and mantra recitation and lasts approximately one hour. We are starting at 7:30 PM and the last one is at 1 AM.

This is a wonderful way to spend NY's Eve and a thoughtful way to begin a new year.

In my younger years I was at Necto (at that time called the Nectarine Ballroom) more times than I can count. Someone your age and that you like to dance should have a blast there. Have fun but be careful if you are driving from there. I don't know about now, but I remember a very heavy presence of cops patrolling the streets in the area at bar time. Stay the night in the downtown/off campus area if possible.

My boyfriend and I will be hosting NYE at our place, food beverages and friends. I cant think of a better way to ring out the old year and ring in the new year.
