    I was trying to reconstruct some of my music libraries, and stumbled accross some old U-96 tunes...

    And the EPIC U-Boot (submarine) techno tune:

    I'm wondering if anyone else liked them back in the day. icon_razz.gif

    Them and the likes of KLF, Snap, and many others provided the musical backdrop for more than a few ale and lager-soaked weekends during a few tours in Turkey and my stay with the nice RAF lads hosting us.

    Aw man, I thought this was gonna be a 90s music thread. I was all ready to embed some Ace of Base.

    Never heard of this group or any of these songs. But I don't think I would have been a fan, not quite my cup of tea.

    The first half of the nineties was a great time for electropop in the clubs. Much better than clubs today which seem to just be a reflection of what is popular on radio.

    @jlly:

    U96 was somewhat big in Europe in the early 90s; I dont recall it ever jumping the pond to be heard in US clubs.

    sounds hot, but unfamiliar.
