I was on the Deans list 4 times in university and felt pretty hot at the time..

Now, three years after graduation, hasn't done me shit.

Once you're past undergrad, C's get degrees.

College principal's list each year, dean's list final year. Graduated cum laude. Looks good on a resume.

I made it. I actually didn't understand what it meant. But when they waved my tuition fees for my entire junior year I understood that my good grades hadn't gone unnoticed. I really want to donate money to the U of Washington once I have money to donate.

.. the list did say "Students about to be expelled"...it was the Dean's list, though!

I have the same degree as many others who have been on the coveted list, but I've been catching the attention of more employers as I worked through university full time and was a varsity athlete. eat it nerds.

I didn't do so well my first time in college. But I returned when older for subsequent degrees, always getting a perfect 4.0 and making the Dean's List. In fact, one university submitted my name to some kind of national "Who's Who" publication of outstanding US college students. You can see all the good it did me... LOL!

I was always on the honor roll in college. I had straight A's only once and that was the spring semester of my Junior year. My worst semester I received a 3.45. That was my first semester as a freshman....dang that
    Accounting and Economics.... LOL

I did. It was definitely rewarding...then like everyone else who posted...just sort of became nothing after awhile. I think the best part about that experience was getting a letter in the mail in regards to it.

I did, and even ordered one of those certificates that they offer you haha. I think it means something more when you go to a rigorous, academic school with a hard major, then an easy major at a so-so university. So be proud if you got on deans list dude.. it's an accomplishment

It feels like nothing. You just get a letter you can put on the fridge and you can put it on your resume. Those are the plus sides

My whore nutrition science teacher fucked everybody over and I cam out with an 88. In a 4 class situation, yeah I would have. But with 3 classes the b brought me below dean's. that whore.

I got an A in A&P though, a class that a really high % of kids have to completely retake. It was so interesting too, fuck yeah. To get my A I had to make a 99 on the final over the nervous system, it was hardcore, and fun(but only because my ass lab TA was a bitch who's avg was 10 points below all the others).

Kinda the same as graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. They sound nice at graduation. As far as resume fodder they take such a backseat to your practical work experience it's not even funny.
