    Me:

I just fixed and ate a delicious dinner. And after the news, I'm watching "Zodiac," a Jake Gyllenhaal movie I've not seen. I DVRed it last night. Oh, and it has Mark Ruffalo in it, who I fell for after seeing him in "The Kids Are All Right."

Then I'm eating chocolate, drinking water, and switching channels back and forth to hopefully see how Dick Clark is doing, and what will come out of Kathy Griffin's mouth.

    You?

Ended up being on call this holiday; the hubby is working, so it's a Gilmore Girls marathon for me.
I think I'll start that novel that's been in my head for years.
Yikes looks like I need a detraction:
Men and boys, Mr Conway Twitty...

At the risk of sounding like a loser, I'm looking forward to curling up under a blanket and and watching Barefoot in the Park. It's the first time I haven't been out since 1997.

I'll write in my journal celebrating another year past and looking forward to new and existing hopes and aspirations.

It's been a good year, challenged myself and created some wonderful memories.

    Cheers!

My early morning routine of being up at 5 and to the gym by 7 means that I'm about ready for bed by 10 p.m. So, watching some new year's comedy specials on tv, then to bed. It's going to be a rainy night here, anyway.

I've got a great ham (with a bone and low sodium, not the formed version) roasting, w/baked potatoes and an enormous salad. Bill's made a great playlist from grooveshark and is playing solitaire on his PC. Currently listening to Duran Duran, Hungry Like The Wolf, lol.

Happy New Year, ya bunch of hunks!

We ended up going to costco earlier and getting some snacks. Still have 1 bottle of the raspberry sparkling juice from xmas. I don't feel like drinking tonight, so my partner, my kids and I, will watch Ironman II and then turn on the tube and watch the ball drop. Fun times!

Had a great dinner earlier with 3 friends. Really nice time. Now home and doing a variety of things.... chatting with friends, started taking down Christmas decorations and watching TV. Don't plan to be out after midnight tonight.

    Happy New Year everybody!

Stayed in, grilled myself a nice steak, poured a nice glass of red that I had been saving. Just finished watching Bette Midler's Vegas show on HBO, set up my new NookColor and found Creepshow, the movie from 1982, that I haven't seen in forever. will watch that until it's time to see Dick Clark botch the countdown to midnight, then head to bed. Exciting, eh?
