    I usually have no problems sleeping but my allergies and stress have been waking me up the passed 2 days at 3 and 4 AM. What works for you guys to put y'all back to bed?

    nothing's worked for me so far. I went to be at NINE AM last night this morning. It's been that way for a week now! Gonna try 50mg of Trazodone soon to see if it helps tonight.

    [edit]um...if we sleep WITH EACH OTHER then our bad sleeping habits will cancel each other out and we'll fall asleep earlier!icon_biggrin.gif

    I've been having sleeping problems too. Not because of allergies, but I messed up my sleeping pattern not having school nor work these past couple of weeks. Yesterday I slept at 8 am and woke up at 11am. Gotta fix this before school and work start again!

    well for allergies you can buy medication for it over the counter that has some anti histamines in it to help with the allergies.
    the stress part not too sure about, whatever helps you relax I guess.

    Anyway hope you have better sleep tonight.

    I have the most random sleep schedule. Usually after being up for 30 hours I will fall asleep without substance.

    Otherwise, I have been prescribed Ambien for years. I hate taking it because of side effects.

    I've finally got into a psychiatrist on the 18th. I'm so excited that I might resolve my anxiety/nervous issues.

    I like their idea. And if you post pics of the "exercise" it may help put me to sleep.

    ......eventually.

    I take two 3mg of Melatonin about an hour before sleep. Do NOT.. DO NOT take Melatonin during the day!!!....

    Turn off computer at night and do NOT sleep with TV on. Room must be completely dark and cool temp. Also, taking a Vitamin B Complex during the day will also help relieve stress and assists with sleep. But more importantly is get some good exercise to relieve stress and also stay hydrated.

    Ejaculate before going to bed also relieves stress and may help too.

    Read this before going to sleep:

    (hypnotic voice)...sleeeeeeeeeep..... sleeeeeeeeeeeppp..... sleeeeepppp.. ..mmmmmm...... relaaaaaax...... sleeeeeepppp......getting sleeeeeeey..... sleeeeppppppp.....sleeeeeeeppppy......sleeeepy man .... very sleeeeeeepy.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......

    you asleep yet? icon_lol.gif

    A friend turned me on to the 2 MELATONIN (which can be bought super cheap at COSTCO) and it works wonders. I also have allergies, so I add a BENADRYL with it (also available at COSTCO) and you will sleep like a baby. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    I used to have problems sleeping... I went to 3 sessions (once a week) of acupuncture, with some herbs he prescribed me, and was sleeping better after the first session... it was pretty amazing how well it worked for me.

    a good workout or involving in cycling, walking, jogging
    a good shower before bed;
    a good meditation before sleep;
    listening to good songs;
    reading good books;

    do not drink caffeine or tea.

    these may help get you some sleep; the first three are highly effective! Only when the body is naturally tired, we will get some sleep.

    and most importantly sleep only when you want to sleep.

    I got some serious Restless Leg Syndrome and as a result couldn't sleep for a couple of nights and had to work during the day. This made it pretty bad for me. But then I took some Melatonin and slept pretty good that night. It helps a little with sleeping, is completely natural and non-addictive if you take as and when needed rather than always. It is available as over the counter Vitamin supplement and paid 6.49 for 100 tablets.

    A steam shower and a 1/2 glass of Leitz Dragonstone does the trick every time!
