So I always go to the gym every other day, and I didn't go on Monday. I'm going to the gym right now on Tuesday morning at 7 a.m, and then going again tomorrow Wednesday late at night. I know the body needs time to recover, but would this be acceptable or should I give my body more time to rest? Oh and it is a full body workout, I'm not just attacking certain muscle groups. Thanks guys

well you shouldnt be working the same body parts on consecutive days, would need to know what your workout is to really comment

I work out 5 days a week Monday through Friday but its a different body part each day so thats fine but if you are doing the same fullbody workout each time I can see where it might be a problem

It depends on the intensity of your workouts.

I´m reading it as a one off... in which case you will be fine, and perhaps understand at a deeper level WHY normally you have more time between working the same body part. I say go for it as a learning experience

It´s not a good long term strategy

It's ok if you just like to workout and do it as a hobby. If you want to get bigger, it's not helping you.

Though, I have had good luck with a 2:1 ratio. I did:
    Day 1: Arms
    Day 2: Legs/Abs
    Day 3: Rest

Unfortunately, I suffered multiple injuries anytime I tried to play a sport. I was making gains, but the stress was really hard on my body.

You wont die if you do it. But, performance won't improve.

I hate weight training, so I only do it 3 days a week (well, 0 days right now, until I get the cast off). But, I enjoy cardio, so I do that more frequently. And, still after 3 days in a row, I can feel my performance drop off, so I take a day off.
