I dunno if this will work, but better to try.

If you post on this topic, you agree to participate. The objective, really, is getting to know each other.

    Here's how it goes:

    1) Send a short email to the guy who posts after you. In your email, you introduce yourself and try to say something interesting enough to get a correspondence going. Be nice. :-)

NOTE: If you personally know the guy, then skip to the next.

    2) Those who receive emails are obliged to respond.

    3) Only four emails each will be exchanged, no more and no less. After the fourth email, no one is obliged to send a fifth and no one should expect a fifth even if the "conversation" is cut short. What happens next between the two of you is your call, but again, there should be no obligation nor expectation after the fourth email.

NOTE: To track the number of emails, you can indicate it on the subject line: e.g. "Email #1"

    4) When the exchange is done, you will establish contact with the next person in the chain. Repeat steps (1) to (3). This cycle will continue until you've corresponded with three guys.

Again, I dunno if this will work, but better to try.

If things don't turn up rosy for you, then charge it to the RealJock experience. icon_smile.gif

Skip me. I'm in a relationship.

I just want to know, will the results be posted here? icon_smile.gif

Well, it would be nice to know if a relationship started because of this icon_smile.gif

    Wow, Really cool idea.

Why the hell not? let's give it a whirl. Hopefully we'll get a lot of guys to do it and some positive feedback of the outcomes as well.

    Hey Jprichva,

How's it going, man? I've liked your posts on here - you often have something good and worthwhile to say. We guys of a certain age need to stick together!

Thanks for responding! So, in my case, I will be exchanging four email with the three gents who posted after me. First with eckilegs, then withgymrat389 then with GuiltyGear.

    OOOOOPS!

I accidentally deleted my post icon_redface.gif

But i did post between Carlson and jprichva.

But this is a lot of fun and seems like a great way to get to know people without the awkwardness of a random "hi" email. =) I can either be skipped or counted as a post from here, i dont mind getting to know more people =)

How does this sound? "RealJock Speed Dating: Episode One"

SwimmingHB... Hello! To avoid confusion, you can begin emailing the guy who comes after your published post. icon_smile.gif

MikePhil... Well, the primary objective of this "speed dating" is to get to know more people. For the single folk, actually finding a relationship is a bonus. Hopefully, when "Episode One" of emails are done, people can give feedback on their experience. icon_smile.gif

TIP FOR THOSE WHO JOIN: You might want to check the profiles of the three people who will be emailing you and the three people you will be contacting. This way you'll have something to work with. That is, if the profiles are filled well enough. All in all, each participant will meet six guys in total.

So churn out the email and have fun! icon_smile.gif
