ADULT-ORIENTED: Anybody here from Ireland, that can give me a clue is this is normal behavior? Was he straight and comfortable, or gay and cruising me?

The URL below links to a post which mentions two naked men in a steamy staredown in a gym locker room. Do not click if you are offended by such stories.

    http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/1312933/

The 25yo guy was Irish, over "on holiday" with some friends. They wanted to go shopping for a few hours so he looked up a nearby gym for a workout.

Q: Are you Irish guys comfortable walking around nude in the locker room? American guys are afraid to be seen, and usually do "the towel dance."
Q: Would you dry off with the shower stall door/curtain fully open, knowing that there was another guy about ten feet away who was watching you?
Q: Would you give a friendly stare to another naked guy, at a locker six feet from yours?
Q: Do you think he was straight and comfortable in his skin, or gay and cruising me?

its not an Irish thing. I think pretty much everywhere in Europe and some Latin Countries guys feel comfortable naked in front of other guys. In Cuba I used to shower naked with all my friends and they would get naked in the room with other 3 guys around put some underwear on and stuff. Whats the big deal

Most Irish guys are pretty relaxed about being naked in the locker room, and happily chat away while getting changed without feeling uncomfortable.

In the gym I go to guys are always checking each other out to see who is better shape and how guys are progressing with their training. It's not a sexual thing, you can admire someone who works hard and it brings a healthy level of competition.

The answer to the final question you will never know...he may have thought you were in good shape, he may have been just friendly and he may have checking you out.

The fact that he gave up an opportunity to shop might indicate he was straighticon_lol.gif

    Born in the highlands icon_smile.gif

Nudity is way over the top in the states. Everywhere in Europe people are more comfortable being nude and seeing others nude.

Its a locker room.. whatever he was prolly lazy.

Every guy "checks" out the competition. Str8 and gay alike they either look to boost their confidence in themselves or negatively compare.

I dont know. Maybe you should of asked him. But I doubt he was cruising you.

I dont see how any of these questions has to do with him being Irish. icon_confused.gif

In the US and middle East, there is this unusual issue with nudity... Europe doesnt have that

Not to bash America, but we tend to be so uncomfortable about nudity and being naked in front of others. I go to Miami Beach a few times a year and I always see topless women and men in thongs; it's simply not an issue among Europeans and more 'comfortable' Americans.

BTW-It is normal behavior whether you are gay or straight.

I'm Irish and even though we're coy by European standards, nudity and conversation in the locker room is pretty standard.

So, yes, yes, yes and possibly straight - it's so damn hard to figure at times.
