    I like this story icon_smile.gif

It never ceases to amaze me how much drugs and alcohol (excessive icon_razz.gif ) can ruin someone's life. It's great that people who work at turning things around get second chances.

I thought this was a joke too. It just goes to show how someone's willing to turn their life around for the better after years of alcohol and drug-related abuses. I doubt he'll have a hard time finding an on-the-air job with a voice like that. icon_biggrin.gif

He's already been offered a job and they did a piece on him this evening on NBC working at it.

I think the story is awesome and I'm glad he is on the road back. I read that he accepted a job with the cleveland cavs and someone bought him a house already.

But I do know there's a guy out there.....or many guys out there.....that have excellent speaking voices. That have done everything right in their life, and by the book....and they are probably thinking 'dang, I should have become an addict and then maybe I could get a job'.

It's kind of like the story of the prodigal son.

Thats the biggest hoax. Those guys can make $1000s a day. The real homeless dont ask for money. Hell no he wont get a radio job. That would be a huge pay cut.
