Start by walking daily, at least 30 minutes, at a medium-fast pace.
    Drink shitloads of water.

That'll get you started, and how I started (was 225 lbs). In the meantime, read up on fitness tips, do's and don'ts, etc. etc. etc. You'll know when you're ready to progress from there.

    Good luck! icon_biggrin.gif

Follow that to a T, and then, by keeping up with that, you can start out jogging, and then eventually running. As far as buying healthy food, try and find another job. Which, can be hard, considering the way the economy is, but just keep your fingers crossed! For healthy foods, fresh fruits and vegetables is a plus, and foods that are fat-free or reduced fat is also a plus.

If you are just starting out with exercise, the 10 pound weights will be enough for you to start out with. Listen to what the other guys said too!

    Walk. Drink water. Great advice!

Just try not to eat junk. Help your sister shop for cheap good stuff, like oatmeal, whole wheat bread, lo-fat milk, You probably know the drill, but mainly try to eat fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, very little fat and sugar. Take it easy on the expensive meat and substitute some eggs or cheese or beans to save. Get food stamps if you have to.

The more you walk the more your body will want to use up the fat it has stored.

    Go for it dude!

    Eat small meals often.
Avoid large doses of sugar and walk away from all fried food.
    Eat breakfast.
WALK, every day, at least 30 minutes.

    EAT. Do not stop eating.

    Drink plenty of water.

Exercise discipline, patience, and just keep doing it. If you're doing it right, you should be able to drop about 1 to 2 pounds, on average, weekly, but, understand, your weight can bounce around by as much as 15 pounds on any given day.

Study the gyclemic index. EAT. Small meals often.

    Study the insulin response.

    Breakfast like a king.
    Dinner like a prince.
    Supper like a pauper.

    Eat. Small meals often.

    Walk.

DO NOT STARVE. It only trains your body to be a fat-storing, sluggish, machine. EAT.

    Start lifting weights, too.
