I was 21. We met in a "honky tonk" during the morning hours, working on a carpet-laying crew recarpeting the bar. Everyone always joked about gayness, so I thought it was a joke when my coworkers told me this one dude was gay, and that I should go for him.

During lunch, he invited me to his house for a few beers (yeah we were allowed to do that).

After work, I moved in with him and stayed 3.5 years. icon_lol.gif

I was 19, met him on Yahoo back when they had a dating site. We were together for 3 years, pretty sure that counts as a serious relationship.

    26. in rehearsals. Three years. Broke my heart..never allowed anyone that power again. To my loss I will add. Talked me into scenes I was uncomfortable with..the said I had become "too worldly".

    well you get the picture!

23 -- having been out for 2y. I was on a hitchhiking vacation around the country, met him staying at a friend of a friend in San Francisco. We spent an intense week before I had to move on, then had a long distance relationship for 3 years. Wasn't until I was 31 before I had a healthier and more fulfilling relationship; only 18m, but we're still friends 30 years later.

I was 20, he was 19, but we had been friends since I was 16 and he was 15.

We met at boy scout camp. When we dated we still worked there.

I was 29 which was not long ago, my first relationship. First guy i messed around with was at 26, but i realized the random sex and one night stands was getting old and meaningless at times. So decided to find Mr. Right. So its never too late regardless at what age.

First serious relationship with a woman was freshman year at college, lasted 18 months. Had met at HS. With a guy, my first was my best buddy at college that turned into my first bf just after graduation, and lasted about 12 months or so. He rowed varsity crew, while I was playing soccer, and the sex was super hot. But it didn't last, I dated guys and chicks for a while, then met my wife to be. And now I've been happily married to my wife for 25 years. Don't worry, I don't expect other guys to understand, but somehow it works for me.

Trollileo saidI had a girlfriend when I was 2 months shy of 17. That lasted 4 months. She stopped talking to me, because I wouldn't fuck her.

No no no. Your first GAY relationship. Don't you try to troll your way out of it. I wanna know! icon_wink.gif

For me I was 19. We met at a college party. I took him back to my dorm room that night and we had sex. Yep it was pretty slutty of me. But I was 19! Yes, that is my defense....blame it on the hormones.

We then dated for like 8 months. It was semi-long distance. I was in NYC he was at Princeton. Wasn't that bad though.

We still talk to this day.

I was 19. We 'met' online, met in person the next day, and the next two years were more than I could have ever wanted. He moved away for grad school and decided he wanted nothing to do with me after a couple weeks. icon_rolleyes.gif

I was nineteen,at university. He was twenty three, from Jordan. We met in an economics class and had a drink afterwards. He was the most perfect gentleman:looks, athletic, manners, humour.I would have done anything for him.We had three years and then he went back home.I never saw him again and will always remember him until I die.
