was curious to see how many other guys out there have been stricken. came down with it right before NYE. then i generously passed it along to my mother, my sister, and my boyfriend. though i am basically over it, i still have a lingering cough and a charming brenda vaccaro meets suzanne pleschette thing going on with my voice. plus the lack of lung-capacity, gym-time and appetite is making me feel weak, scrawny AND flabby. i live in the western carolinas. anyone else out there going through or recovering from a similar - coughing, sweating, aching, sneezing, nauseous - thing?

yes and it SUCKS! i've been over it for about a week now, but i'm still so sluggish. i don't have much of an appetite and regardless of the amount of sleep i get i constantly feel drained and fatigued. it's very rare that i get sick, but when i do, it's bad.

I got sick Christmas Eve and had a lingering head cold until this week. On those years when I get a Christmas holiday, I always get sick. I suppose my body is taking advantage of the downtime.

I was sick just before Christmas with what I think was Bronchitis (got it from a friend). I went to the Dr and got meds because I was off to Ireland for two weeks. Well, over the course of my trip, I think I also picked up the flu. Thankfully the flu is gone, but I still have lingering bronchitis. So, I got an inhaler and some steroids for that. It SUCKS not being able to breathe. Grrrrrrrrrr.
