might be meeting someone soon, he might even read this, that's fine, but what do people do to make sure someone is safe to meet with? i let my family know just so they know where i am and i immediately get "he's trying to kill you!" so, i'd like to hear from people who do this more often. so far i've honestly gone to the extent of asking people on his buddy list what he's like. i felt like a dick doing that but i figure that's a smart thing to do because who knows better than someone who's met him already. they all said he's beyond safe.

Be smart. Meet him somewhere public. Let one of your good friends know where you're going and you can have them call in the middle of the meeting (it's a date, right?) to check up on you and see how everything is going.

If you're really worried about your safety, take a self-defense course.

    This worries me:

    beyond safe= boring

He won't try to make a move on you. He won't try to kiss you. He won't even try to hold your hand. He might annoy you by constantly asking you "Are you ok?" and "Do you need anything?"icon_razz.gif

hahaha, nah, idk, look at that site he does a therapy thing for people.

idk i think i'm just being overcautious at this point, im not a wimp even, just paranoid. i live in like a "top 50 dangerous cities in the country" place so i've probably handled worse situations (kids with guns and such)
