I play a couple of the games on FB and I have added a bunch of people as friends to help me with the games. Part of the reason why I wanted to add them is to help more people see the issues that GLBT people face. I was hoping that I would get some people that just have no idea what GLBT people go through. I have received private messages from a few that I have told me that they have learned a lot and one from a lady who has a lesbian daughter in which she told me that she now understands better what her daughter was facing in coming out. And a few have become more vocal and more supportive of us as well.

Today, I posted about this museum opening and I had someone new that I just added comment that they did not know what GLBT was and that it was not listed on the web site. Too funny! She knows now. icon_smile.gif

and that's why I like them)

Thats great especially for younger people such as I who didnt live to see some of the struggles our older counterparts had to struggle with. Its true we are so much more homogenized into society and its nice to look back into our roots.

Is this a 'hands on' museum?

Just like the Creation theme park, can it get some state funding? icon_razz.gif
