This doesn't look good for Republicans in 2012. s

Opinion of GOP Congress slips with centrist Republicans

Support for the new GOP Congress has dropped since November among centrist Republicans, a new Pew poll said Friday.

Support for congressional Republicans' plans has dropped 21 percentage points among Republicans who identify themselves as "moderate" or "liberal," according to a Pew Research Center poll, while support has declined by 3 percentage points among self-described "conservatives."

Fifty-seven percent of centrist Republicans said they approve of GOP leaders' policies and vision for the future, down from 78 percent in a Pew Research Center poll in November, right after the GOP won control of the House in the midterm elections.

Twenty-two percent of centrists now say they disapprove of GOP leaders, up from 3 percent last November.

Approval for Republicans is also down 9 percent — from 39, to 30 — among independents, the poll found.

The slip among independents and centrist Republicans contributes to an overall net-negative opinion of GOP leaders and their agenda, as the new Congress begins.

An overall 34 percent said they approve of Republican congressional leaders' policies and plans, while 43 percent expressed disapproval. Twenty-two percent said they did not know.

The poll, conducted Jan. 5-9, has a 3 percent margin of error.

I don't really give these silly polls much credence. Most polls are designed to fit into someone's agenda and don't really tell the real story

Aren't you supposed to be in North Carolina on vacation or fundraising or something?

It's sad,SB, that you've so run out of arguments that all you do now is engage in ad hominem snark. Weak.
