The Edison is cool. It's horrendously overpriced, they have a retarded dress code and its filled with stuck up LA folk, but the building itself and the interior is worth it. Probably the awesome-est club interior ever, as far as buildings go.

True. I just miss the raunchier Micky's. LOL

I'd say Tom Whitman nites at Here Lounge has the best Go-Go's.
Jefferey Sanker and Paul Nichols throw the best events too.

Edison in Downtown LA is awesome

(Avoid the Standard in Downtown LA, it's dying if not already dead)

If you like the Edison try La Descarga. Nice atmosphere if you can get past the dress code and retarded Hollywood douchebags. More straight than gay but still fun.

Circus should be added to the list (at least for Fridays).

I'm going to be in LA this weekend, just wondering if people have suggestions for things to do Saturday afternoon/evening? It's not that I don't like the music per se, but I'm not a huge fan of the thumpa-thumpa clubs (besides, it's just me and that's a bit awkward, at least to me).
