HOW DO YOU SHOW YOUR INTEREST, for plain fun or relationship?

I was reading on some thread today... people are so clueless as to how they can ascertain other peoples interest...

I think it would help us if we all come together and expose how we actually show our interest - for whatever purpose it serves.

if i like someone i tell them right off the back..if i want to sleep with the someone (which has been rare nowadays), i just approach in a clean nice way and then get into, not trying to deceive them, but being nice and respectful.

i dont like guys who send me messages say "ur hot ;)" what the fuck is up with the wink? or "lets play". i think its very vulgar

when it comes to sex... really its easy - you just know with the way they look and with the things they do like

    parking the package
    lingering stares and looks
    the multiple check outs
    the stops
    subtle touch
    subtle push
    subtle bump
    the naughty face

    and the list goes on...

i guess when the intentions go beyond the sexual need - you really just get all your act up together to muster the first "hello" and you pick up from there...

or i dont know... sex... and then you give it a thought if you'd wanna keep the man lying next to you or just scoot and get to the next

    "Hey baby, whats your sign?"

    or

"Hey I lost my number, can I have yours?"

Just say, flat out ... "I'm not looking for a relationship. I'm just having fun right now."

It's pretty blunt and direct, but no wires will be crossed.

I turn from my normal confident outgoing self into a stammering yammering moron.

I'll be shy at first, but generally warm up fast (insert dirty thoughts here) and will then try to make conversation. If they don't respond or ignore me, I keep at it a while lol (insert thoughts of stalkerism here). What can I say, I'm persistant. I'll usualy try to use humor to break the ice and then try to think of a topic that will start them talking. After that I just pray that they will talk back.

A shot of Rumplemenz loosens the lips. You can find out what's really on a guys mind once his inhibitions are down.

The eyes hold the secret usually if a guy is interested in you. That glance that lasts a second or two too long is a dead giveaway. If it is not in person (e.g. a chat line, or e-mail) then the direct route is the best way. "I think you are hot" is usually a pretty good indication!

In terms of relationship vs. one night stand, SoDakguy's approach is the one I adopted. Be honest but polite as soon as possible. Go out for coffee and talk a bit before going to his place or your place. If you both want to boink then great go to it and play safe. You may both want a fuck buddy which can also be great.

If you are both interested in a relationship then you may want to hold off a bit on the sex. If the sex is so-so then you could potentially be turned off a life time partner. The sex can always be improved upon or tweaked, but the personality of a person is what you will really fall in love with.

a nod pointing to a direction usually means, let's hit it on.

    a smile is i think says - you're cute.

a hello and conversation may mean, they are interested in getting to know you more.

i dont know but i do like the game of chase and hints icon_smile.gif its so intense

I don't have it down to a science, but if I seem to hold eye contact, smile or laugh, and ask (usually a series of) questions ... then I'm interested. I don't think there really is much more needed than that in terms of a first meeting. =]

Typically a 'Hi' does wonders. I usually and watch to see if the person is looking at me, if they look over more than a couple of times I say hello. I've only gotten a rude response once and it was understandable in retrospect (he had just had his coat/wallet stolen).
