Overdid it two days ago and Still in pain?!

    Hey guys,
    so basically I hit the gym pretty hard on friday, for a full body workout. But I probably over did it and I was really sore. I feel much better today, but I still have trouble standing up straight because of some muscle? or something that goes from the "v" part of the abs down to the inner thighs is really killing me. Did I pull something or does this go away after a while? I'm only worried because the soreness everywhere else isn't really a problem today. icon_biggrin.gif

    The inner thigh is pretty sensative area , usually when I work out I feel it for about 4-5 days after. You can actually try soaking in a hot bath with some epsom salt, really does help with soreness, also, do a lot of stretching for the next couple days. Hope it helps!

    yeah, being sore more than one day after a lot of work isn't unusual.

    You could ice it. 10mins for 3-4x.

    Stretching after your workout could minimize muscle soreness.



    If only there was an activity that would keep you in bed all day. icon_redface.gificon_razz.gif

    If it's sore you're fine, do some stretching when you wake up. If it gets painful, then there could be a problem.

    Try soaking in hot tub with some muscle relaxing salts and stretching it a little bit. Also massaging the area with light oil helps loosening up the muscles.
