it's called weights sweet heart which you commonly find in a place called a GYM.. you'll know one is about when the population of attractive buff men suddenly increase.

    You should look into that.

Well, that and your genes. But you work with what you've got, and certainly weights can't hurt if done reasonably.

BTW, your current pic is the hottest one of you I've ever seen. Not only do I like a candid natural pic, but you simply look so fucking butch! You begin to look like the Russell Crowe of RJ. Not shitting you! (You could crop it better, though)

hahaha thanks hahaha ummm not sure how I feel being compared to Russell Crowe though hahaha icon_biggrin.gif

While you are right about genetic potential everyone has the genetic potential to put on a large amount of muscle no matter how skinny or how erm "fat" you might be, but you do indeed have to work with what you have..

But Christian hasn't even begun to get close to his "genetic wall" if he truly wants to put on muscle he'll need to put serious dedication, time and knowledge behind his efforts to get that muscle.

Likely true, and he's young enough to do a lot with his body if he tries. That's another factor, age, but that's on his side right now if he doesn't squander it.

BTW, I did a quick & dirty crop of your pic. Had to work with the small size from your profile, and so this is also small & low-res, but here's roughly what I had in mind. With your original I know you could do much better. And perhaps I should have written "masculine" above, instead of butch, which might convey some gay connotations I didn't intend. I think that word fits here a lot better, a picture of a man's man. WOOF!

You have to gain muscle by lifting weights and eating. Once you have enough muscle, you just eat fewer calories until you hit a low body fat.

It's really not too difficult, but you need to realize that you can't (easily) gain muscle and lose fat at the same time.

even if you took some illegal drug that ruins your body like steroids, It still requires the work and effort.

People will use steroids to overcome/skew genetic limits. but that is like putting rocket fuel in your car, it breaks the body.

Consistency and progressive overload are two keys to having muscle growth. Repetitions in the 8 - 12 range will produce muscle hypertrophy.

What's sad is that in University I often received that comment. People thought I was on steroids because I got thinner then muscled over 2 years. Over a summer, I was part of an advertising company that rode bikes around Toronto with huge ads attached. I worked almost 35-40 hour weeks out in the sun on a bike. It def helped me get to where I am now. But for people who saw me before and after, I've always been connected to steroids.

I know myself that it was all me, and my friends know too. Sometimes it makes me realize that some people don't think I can do it without cheating. Kinda is a slap in the face.

When I started to work out I used to ask myself the same thing. But the most important thing to remember is that it takes time, hard work, and patience. Some of those dudes might definitely take steroids but most don't. The life of a bodybuilder is quite glamorous actually: train, eat, sleep, rest, and repeat.

That's good, make sure you can balance out your work load so that you may be able to hit the gym as frequently as you like.
