I am finally up to 5 miles with the Vibrams Fingers. I bought the injinj socks in view of how cold it is in the mornings and has helped. I noticed that for the first 20 minutes doing almost 2 miles my time improved to 10:45/mi average pace.

However, I stopped running around mile 3.5 I noticed pain/soreness in my middle/distal phalanges on my left foot more than my right dominant foot. I assume they are still getting accustomed. The pain subsides once I normally start walking for a few minutes and then resume running again. Anyway, hope to continue to strengthen these.
