I have gotten an Iphone and Ipad. I'm also trying to get back into the gym. Now in HS i tracked my lifting and year ago I did Body For Life where I tracked everything from poop to sleep. j/k
Has anyone found something really good and smart on either device? How do you feel about having 300 and 500.00 worth of technology in an environment where you are constantly moving and have heavy plates and such?

Don't think I would take the iPad in with me, but I have no problem taking my iPhone with me.

As for workout apps, men's health offers a few pretty good apps. The workouts app offers the same kind of workouts usually found in the magazine and the 1000 exercises app is good for building your own routine. FitnessBuilder is a good all-around app.

If you have the P90x material and know the workouts, there is an App that allows you to track and chart your workouts. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and like it.

Could you provide the name of the app you are referring to, or perhaps a link? I Googled "P90x iphone app" and the results were ambiguous.
