rnch saidmy left knee is still messed up from a fall on the stairs at work 12 days ago; waiting on the s l o w people at workman's comp central to approve an MRI for the misaligned knee cap.
thankfully my employer has shoved me into a corner with a computer...i was advised "to look like i am busy".
How did I miss this news? I knew nothing about this. (Or if I did, my trick memory, during a seizure episode, erased it)
I was on crutches in 1988 following knee surgery, awkward and clumsy things, hope you'll soon be without. But I've had a cane since 1995, and I've sorta grown to like it. Good for all kinds of things, like blocking elevator doors, beating off muggers (actually have done that), and being advanced to the head of long waiting lines ("queues" for our British friends).
I have quite a cane collection, for every occasion, from everyday knock-around to evening formal. I've made mine a fashion accessory. And so if you should find yourself having to use one, turn it into an advantage, not a liability. In your personal life always be positive regarding potential, never pessimistic regarding problems.
And wishing you a prompt recovery!
