This is rather funny, in a pathetic sort of way. I'll now have to look for this cereal in our local Publix supermarket next time we're there, and check the ingredients list to confirm this.

I'm still locked into the 1950s, in more ways than one, my own choice for cold cereals being Wheaties, Cheerios, and Kellogg's Corn Flakes, with an occasional daring desire for shredded wheat. Anything introduced after 1960 isn't on my breakfast menu, so I wouldn't have touched this stuff anyway.

the only cereals I'll touch are cheerios and kashi.

Most every other cereals are carbohydrate bombs.

I have a delicate constitution, so I can't have cereal with milk.
I eat instant oatmeal with nothing on it. The kind with raisins, dates, and walnuts is good.

To be fair, the packaging isn't a lie:

    From: http://www.totalcereal.com/blueberry-pomegranate.aspx

"Jump start your day with an exciting new blend of crispy whole grain flakes and crunchy blueberry and pomegranate flavored clusters."

... reading labels, so you don't have to.

    Still... awful stuff!!!

That's why I include real blueberries in my morning steel cut oatmeal and put a half teaspoon of THIS into every protein shake as a natural sweetener: http://www.navitasnaturals.com/products/pomegranate/pomegranate-powder.html
Rarely do I find the solutions to life's problems prepackaged; I have to put them together.
