For the past few nights, I seem to be waking up at 3:00am. I try to go to sleep but I can't. While I sit here, I will tell you about the dream I just had.

I am waiting for the manager of a pharmacy to go get the pharmacy technician. I have my résumé and am applying in person to a job they posted. All of the patrons are is talking or shopping, walking up and down the aisles in the part of the pharmacy that is reminiscent of a convenient store. It's 3:33am on the clock above the pharmacy counter. I notice, from the corner of my eye, there is one customer seated in the waiting area beside the counter staring right at me.

He is a stocky man, wearing grey dress pants and black dress shoes. He sits with his arms clasped on his knees wearing a well-knit brown sweater with strange writing I have never seen before on it over a white dress shirt. He's an elderly Caucasian man, with wrinkles that have crevices noticeable from where I am standing. The crow's feet beside his eyes draw attention to them. They are completely pitch black eyes staring right at me..I try to ignore him but I can't seem to shake the image of him just sitting there staring at me.

I slowly begin to walk over to him but he remains, sitting there, following the movement of my feet as I approach him cautiously. It's almost as if I am in his dream and moving 'out of place' in comparison to the other people in the store. When I get in arms length of him, he quickly grabs my forearm and starts to scream at me in a foreign tongue. His voice seems almost disembodied and I am afraid to look at his visage. However, when I finally decide to look and focus my attention on his face, I immediately notice the pitch black of his eyes have now increased in size twice-fold. His face looks emaciated and his jaw is unhinged. His mouth extends far beyond the point that a normal human could extend it, and within his mouth is pitch black. No tongue or teeth, and yet I can tell he is screaming at me. Right as I am about to back off the lights in the pharmacy shut off. I get distracted momentarily by the disruption, but slowly regain my composure. However, there is a tingling down my spine because I know it, I can feel it breathing. It's no longer screaming but I know it's there. It's hand is now much larger and fully clasps my forearm. It's face is right behind my head, staring back at me. I know I shouldn't, I try to keep staring forward, but I can't. I need to know what's there, as I slowly turn my head I --------------

Wake up. I know if I'm awake at 3:33am something will- ......................

    What did you dream about?

Last dream I can remember, I was in Sofia, Bulgaria and running back to my hotel under the rain. There was a cemetary on my left and I was slipping and sliding as I was trying to cross an intersection. A man comes up to me on my right as if he's trying to greet me - I don't know him so I swerve around him. It's then that his curly-haired accomplice, wearing a bucket hat, realises that my wallet is in my right pocket of my jeans, shouts 'get it!' and they pounce on me trying to steal it. I scream like a gypsy and it's at that moment that I wake up.

Funnily enough, I could feel myself being pulled out of the dream, like a tug in the head backwards and upwards.

THIS POST IS NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED- PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE PREGNANT, HAVE HEART PULPITATIONS OR ARE SENSEITIVE TO BODILY WASTE FUNCTIONS

The other night I saw this pic on another thread (that somehow influenced my REM subconsciouss that very night):

    Photobucket">

This was my ensuing dream (post copied from said thread) :

'' This picture must have entered my subconsciouss as I had a VERY vulgar and nasty dream/nightmare LAST NIGHT about some hot dude who was, well, spraying, erm, human excrement out of his butt, i'm talking hose powered, projectile, and non-stopping...I was at the back of the room trying to avoid the diluge and keep my arousal, but the sight of this was slightly annoying (surprisingly i was trying to ignore the fact of what was going on, so not to ruin the previous sexy moment of him on my bed on all fours), and when a tiny bit of fecal spray hit me...I woke up....I only slept three hours last night...

I realised a few hours after waking that this pic was probably one of the last things I saw, and must have had a major part in my nasty dream...... ''

    That is all.

I've had my share of bad dreams.

Once, I dreamt I was back in high school (already, that's a nightmare! lol). Anyway, I was in science class with my childhood friend, Natalie. We were talking and somehow, I brought up the fact I was gay. The science teacher who I had never seen before in real life, it was just some guy my mind created, overheard that I was gay. It sent him in a furious, rabid rage. He grabbed a large knife and stabbed me in the hand. I was bleeding profusely, trying to run away, he chased after me like a mad dog. I begged and screamed for help from my classmates, but it was like no one could hear me...

Another bad dream. I was in the front yard of my house, playing with my baby girl puppy Sophie. Mom came out the front door and asked me what I was up to. I said we were playing and spending time outside. Then, Sophie started to run toward the street. I yelled at her to stay out of the street, but she didn't obey. She got out in the street, and a car driven by an Asian lady drove down the street (I vividly remember her! Please take no offense to the racial bit, I really can't help what I dream!). And the car struck Sophie. I cried desperately when I saw it happen. I ran out to the street, and tried to tend to her. She was very bloody, whimpering weakly, just lying there on the ground dying. I told her that everything was going to be okay, that I'd get her to the vet. But somehow in the dream, I knew her condition was pretty pretty bad and that she wasn't gonna make it...

I'm also occasionally subject to the "teeth falling out of my mouth" dreams. Usually, it's my front top incisors, they're just loose and simply fall out. Freaks me out so much because I can feel the gumline in my dream where they'd be missing.

Last night I was working in a zoo and it was time to feed the vampires (who all looked like grumpy old men). They were very greedy and hard to keep at bay. I was getting pretty drained when I woke up.

Lol scariest dream is me (my soul) being outside of my body and I was in the kitchen trying to communicate with everyone around me but nobody seemed to hear me, but then i saw my body sitted at the sofa using my computer.. when i woke up and check my email there was a message that said it was sent by me to me and when i opened it, hotmail blocked the message cause there could be a high risk on its contents so i just deleted it.. but yea it was scary, i've had many others of me being outside of my body, and death people.. its crazy but i've come not to pay attention to them anymore, i would just freak out haha

I have recurring dreams of my teeth falling out. It's strange because I've spoken to others about it and it's apparently quite common. Superstitious folk would even say that it's a bad omen. icon_eek.gif

This dream didn't scare me but it made me dwell on it's meaning......I was walking down a road..the sky in the distance broke into this amazing..blinding light...An inner voice spoke to me..it said, "God is calling"...I started running towards the light...all of a sudden I started floating upwards towards the brightness...At one point I said ,"I'm not ready to go"...I floating down to the ground and as I did...I woke up....Heavy huh....BUD

I've had several nightmares when I was younger that there was a fire at night and a loved one (parents, brother, or grandfather) was trapped inside.
Those dreams were much freakier than any boogeymen to me.

When I was younger I use to dream of the devil, ghost, or demons. Watched too much goosebumps! The scariest dream I would have to say is a dream where I am about to die by getting stab, shot, or drowning.

I had this dream where someone was chasing after me and I run into my car. I go to lock the door but I unlock it instead and he goes right in my face and I wake up.

I had a similar dream where this guy (someone I was dating) that I broke it off with, stabbed me to death.

So...now I carry a machete in my car if someone trys anything and an ice pick for my ex icon_biggrin.gif

Not a scary dream but sleep paralyses is not cool. I was in a deep sleep and every time I thought I was awake, I was still in a dream. I knew I still had to be dreaming because I was looking at myself on my bed. Not to mention a dark hooded image hovering over me and I felt like I couldn't breathe. I tried to yell for help, but I couldn't. The next morning, my roommate asked me If I was okay. She heard me yell out loud. Freaky.

In amazon indian culture, we say a dream of something bad happening means something good is going ot happen and the other way around.... dream of a child born.. and there will be a funeral... dream of an accident... there will be a wedding etc

here is what I found online:

Traditionally, it was thought that dreaming that you did not have teeth, represent malnutrition or poor diet. This notion may still be applicable to some dreamers.

    Other Perspectives

A scriptural interpretation for bad or falling teeth indicates that you are putting your faith, trust, and beliefs in what man thinks, rather than in the word of God. The bible says that God speaks once, yea twice in a dream or a vision in order to hide pride from us, to keep us back from the pit, to open our ears (spiritually) and to instruct and correct us.

In the Greek culture, when you dream about loose, rotten, or missing teeth, it indicates that a family member or close friend is very sick or even near death.

According to the Chinese, there is a saying that your teeth will fall out if you are telling lies.

It has also been said that if you dream of your teeth falling out, then it symbolizes money. This is based on the old tooth fairy story. If you lose a tooth and leave it under the pillow, a tooth fairy would bring you money.

    I like this one:

It can show the beginning of a new phase of life just as we lose our teeth when we pass from early childhood and head towards adulthood.

This is one of the most believable Ive seen:

    http://www.suite101.com/content/teeth-falling-out-in-dreams-a46402

According to that, oyu are experiencing a life change which scares you and you are afraid of accepting, but you will have to, as it is a part of growing and becoming more mature

Seriously, I had this one not long ago:

I was having a heated argument with my (long deceased) father. He said some really nasty things to me and I went to find my mom to tell him what her husband said to me.

Found my mom, but it wasn't my mom. My mom was.....

    Michelle Obama.

For real guys. I couldn't make this stuff up.

i had a dream where i was in this mansion of a house, and the room was painted in white with some royal furniture, i suddenly transport myself through the wall and the rain thats going on outside and find myself on the other side in a different room, i then proceed to go to the door when something catches my eye and i look over to the window next to me to see a purple transparent girl holding a teddy bear. it was pretty freaky.
