Has there ever been a decent video game based on a movie? Why risk creating another crap game?

And there already is a Starship Troopers game.

Ok, I know Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a movie and a tv show (plus graphic novels), so that would be my vote, plus its spinoff: Angel.

Maybe someone from the industry will see this thread and get the HINT! lol

No TV shows or movies strike me as good games.

The premise of Lord of the Rings makes for a good game every couple of years but most of them fall flat. Otherwise Star Wars is probably the only series that was a movie, put into a bunch of games, that lasted past the cartridge era and still thrives. Usually movie video games tank.

Ever since I played the game (when it first came out) I've wanted Prince of Persia to be a movie...and it is now! I thought the actors were great and the movie was really good.

I hope there's more....Maybe they could make a sequel that follows the game story line. icon_smile.gif

Terminator, not sure if there is already one or not but it can be fun.

Planet of the Apes can be something, not sure how good, but something fun.

One of my favorites: Black Swan - you need to eat as much pussy as possible before the ballet recital. Double points for everytime your tongue can do a new trick.

There's already been two Buffy games. The first was Xbox-only and the second was on several platforms.

Personally, I liked the first game better. Even though the second let you have control of the other characters and some entertaining mini-games involving bunnies.

It's the other way around, you make a bad movie out of a good video game.

Damn, I'm guessing they only came out in the States as I haven't seen anything up here in Can. Or maybe I should look harder! lol

It was not a popular series, but I think Dollhouse would make a kick ass video game. You have to complete missions with new imprints throughout the game, all the while maintaining parts of the imprints for the overall goal: taking down the dollhouse.
