Don't worry too much about what everyone says. While I do agree with them that I wouldn't consider you small, it really depends on what you're surrounded with.
I remember this buff guy was talking about how he got to a meeting early, with only one woman in the room. The woman commented that he was skinny. The guy was insulted and flexed his arm for her and asked if it looks skinny to her, to which she replies, uncomfortably, no. Then all the other guys came in to the meeting, all of which were very fat. The guy realized that the woman must be surrounded by enough really fat men that a muscular guy like him would seem skinny to her.
Anyway, back to your question at hand. I can't really give much advice on supplements, but just try to eat more. Eat more meals/snacks or bigger portions. For example, drink 1 1/2 servings of your protein shake instead of 1 serving, or eat a second breakfast an hour after the first. Be careful when you eat bigger portions because I've heard from multiple sources that your body can only absorb 50g of protein per sitting.
You could also look around for mass gainers, they're more convenient than regular meals and much more calorie-dense than meal replacements or protein shakes.
