I love the Australian open and yeah my sleep pattern has gone way off track.

I actually thought Lleyton was a lot better than he used to be in this tournament, darn that Nalbandian!
But hey Bernard is still in it so we have a chance! That game was awesome because Feliciano Lopez was so good to look at lol but I'm glad Bernard won.

I swear Feliciano gave Bernard some dirty looks when he had some good plays.

I hope it's at least a really close game with Rafael Nadal, I'm definitely saying up for that.

I'm in the UK so the days play that starts at 11am in Aus starts at exactly midnight over here lol -_- i need sleeeeep XD

But Sixty_six is right haha tennis is way more important than being coherant at work icon_razz.gif

and i agree with EBan! i saw Lleytons first match and he was great! i really thought after that he'd kind of be one of those dark horses that grind their way into the quaters, but i guess it just wasnt to be icon_sad.gif

Sooo sad that Vee had to retire tonight though. With Serena out i would have loved to see her add one more major to her amazing list of titles. Hope she recovers quickly.

No, because for once the time zone is kind to me icon_biggrin.gif

I'm seeing Stosur to win the Women's title and as much as I would like Nadal to win the Men's, I think Federer might do it.

I would have liked Hewitt to go further in the comp but I think his form is good for the rest of the year. He was doing some commentary during one of the matches last night and he was really good.

It would of been nice to see Ivanovic and Jankovic do better than what they have this year :/ both really dissapointing icon_sad.gif

Hope Sam can claim the title too dash_8! would be a great confidence boost to her, sometimes i think thats all she'd need to be a huge threat on the WTA

I Hope Nadal gets the mens, then he'd have he's own Serena slam lol icon_biggrin.gif

hey to all. Guys, i don't know about Sam's opportunities in next games against Zvonarjova or Kliysters, but in my held belief this year will win Na Li or Zvonarjova, because they are in very good forms now and show perfect mats icon_razz.gificon_razz.gif P.S. Federrer the best player, Nadal has all to win..)

Hi Silbern icon_smile.gif Sam lost her match last night icon_sad.gif!! but i think you're right in saying Na Li is in great form, she beat Clijsters last week and could be a threat to all the players!

Clijsters's great interview for those that missed it haha LOVE THIS WOMAN XD!!!

Most definitely! The quality of play has been impressive on the men's side.

Incredibly impressed with the young Canadian! HUGE game, surprisingly consistently and could cause some major damage.

Disappointed with Roddick, although he has been playing incredibly passive. He's had success with Stefanki, but I think that he needs to be more aggressive on the court. Wawrinka was blocking returns back in the court and Roddick didn't do anything about it. EPIC fail!

I want to do dirty things to Djokovic, love a man who dresses well on the tennis court. *swoon*

Curious to see what happens with the women. I'm all about Li Na, especially with the way that she brushed aside Azarenka. Clijsters may win the event, although she was wild against Cornet.

Franny & Kuzy was one for the record books. High quality of play, mixed up their games and it was wonderful to watch.

Given the way that things have panned out, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Petkovic wins the event.

    You're right about Roddick.
    He's a total puss.
And you're right about Novak too.
His ass is almost as fine as Rafa's.

Who knows? But i wanna that Federrer wins this tournament, Djokovic is now to feeble mentally to gets mens, about girls, i have two candidates on the first place, they are Na Li and Zvonarjova, but simultaneously i'm not sure in this, maybe wins Caroline, but i don't think that she is ready for it, leaning on her mats with others...

I'm tired of watching Roddick play. I keep pulling for him, but he can't step it up. The competition is just too stiff, so I think his best days are behind him.

The women's game is really open though. I think the tournament is for Wozniacki, Zvonareva, Li or Clijsters to win. I'd love to see any of them win although I'm pulling most for Wozniacki. It's nice to see someone who doesn't just smack the ball back and forth get further in grand slam tournaments.

hmmm, guys, how about Wawrinka? He is really black horse to me...and Plus i think Rionic will be the "discovery" of this year... Or Tomic? Don't know but they deserve this titel both, in my opinion.)

EXACTLY! I want Roddick to do well, but his recent plan of attack is just wrong. He's not aggressive enough with his forehand and he becomes passive and merely slices back his backhand. When he's not getting aces, he's going down in flames. Still enjoying the body and semi-scruff though!

I want to like the Muppet, Wozniacki, but I think that she can get overpowered easily. The fact that she has yet to beat a power player like Kimmy, Venus, Serena or Justine concerns me. Even if she wins this event, I think that people will discredit her win because of who she played unless she beats Kim in the final.

True story. I think that Djokovic can win the event, it's all about how his serve is going. Nadal is playing solid, Federer is grinding with his aggressive playing style, so we'll see how it plays out.

So true :/ shes a lovely girl, but for me she doesnt have enough to her game yet to be a real threat to the bigger names, and yes Silbern i saw her interview where she started talking to the press instead of waiting for them haha XD she does have a fun persoanlity after all!

This is sad because im afraid its true icon_sad.gif i'll always love him though XD!

And i feel i should back up what has been said about Djokovic's arse. Should be a tennis thread dedocated to it~ icon_twisted.gif
