Hmmmm....what about gays in History? That seemed conspicuously absent from the subjects. The math example seemed a bit of a stretch.

But it seems like a good idea. Here in the US we have people of color included in everything so kids are totally inured to the idea of minorities.

What does male animals raising their offspring have to do with being gay, very few gay animals have any offspring.
They can't use the UK census data on homosexuality to teach statistics, it's never been asked. Although it was suggested by the last government.
Quasi Autonomous Non Governmental Organisation for those who don't know/don't want to look it up. We're getting rid of a lot of them, this one's just put itself in the Government's firing line.

The national UK newspaper in which this story appears is read mostly by older and socially conservative people. Just check out the comments below the story. There is lots of gay stereotyping and ill-informed correlating of homosexuality with paedophilia.icon_rolleyes.gif

Please no this will lead to the uber extremist groups who are already convinced that there is a militant gay agenda trying to convert school children.

The next right-wing crusade: Stop homogenizing! It turns everyone gay!

One doubts if any of the right wing actually have a clue what math even is.

We can start with the gay man who scaled Mt Everest... er, I mean blind. You know, it is so hard to tell those handicapped people apart... gay, blind; really no difference.
