Do you think a straight guy can sense when another guy is into him?

You know, especially when you're not being obvious. Like when there's a certain guy that you like, and when he's around you your knees get weak. BUT you try to pretend like you don't even see him because, well, you don't want him to know how you feel, because he is straight.

Do you think he can sense that you're into him when you're around each other based on your body language, or nervousness, or some other quality you might dispay that you are not conscious about?

If he's remotely intuitive, I'm sure it's easy.

Depends. Many think so because of the belief that gay dudes want to bone every guy they see. Others are completely oblivious, like retarded oblivious. I'm sure some pick up on it - I'm hoping the hot one my BF works with doesn't pick up on anything from him, that might get awkward lol.

While straight guys seem to be less clueless than gay guys most people in general seem clueless to me. So probably not.

I think that if you go looking for it, you'll find it, and they aren't looking for it.

That's why they never notice any of the older married guys who are out there cruising, if they did, could you imagine what they would say? They don't notice because hooking up with a guy is the last thing on their minds.

Straight men think EVERYbody is into them. I know very few who don't. They may not follow-through, and have their doubts, but in the end they're pretty much the most amazing self-egrandizing lot there is. And frankly, I love them for it.

I agree with you, but I wouldn't limit it to only straight men, most gays are like that too, so I'd say most men in general think EVERYbody is into them.

Yes. Yes, you're absolutely right. It's just that it's kinda cute in straight guys in a way that is isn't always 'as cute' in gay guys.

My experience is they're pretty dense when it comes to that sort of thing. Their gaydar is very poor.

I doubt being straight/bi/gay has anything to do with it. Some dudes are just plain clueless (like me), and others are as ohioguy12 described.
That being said, I usually have a slightly easier time deciphering if another guy has the hots for me than girls but I attribute that to the fact that gay guys are often a lot more obvious about it. Girls always want to play to coy card.

Not me. I pretty much assume the opposite unless you hit me over the head with it like a frying pan. Especially if the guy with the attraction is (to my knowledge) straight... the possibility is the furthest from my mind. Has happened a few times from married guys and I'm like, um, WTF?

Sometimes esp if you are trying way too hard to avoid him. In between do you want him to know you are into him?

Wow! I think I do try hard to avoid him now that I think about it. I mean, I get uncomfortable around him, he's straight so I don't want to get my hopes up... I would much rather avoid him. But it feels awesome when he's around.

In my (unfortunately plentiful) experience, the dynamic is so weird that it's hard to keep track of what's going on until it's too late, and you'll KNOW when it's too late. He'll back off. So the best advice is for YOU to back off a little until you're sure what's going on.

I would put it like this: can you tell when a woman is attracted to you? I know that I never have a clue when the opposite sex likes me. I would say he probably doesn't have a clue and maybe thinks you are shy or socially retarded.

BUT yeah, my knees get shaky near him also and my heart beat pumps up...his eyes...

I dont think so. but like stated it depends on how obvious. the hot guy at my job who works for a vendor i hit on him constantly, but im never very obvious. any gay guy would pick up on it right away. but he is so clueless and its cute. makes me laugh when i do.

as far as i know, when i see str8 guys walking by and i look at them, they dont seem to know, so i would say no, plus females are more observant than males, but gays may be more observant than st8s as well.
