So I was researching ASL (american sign language), and I went on youtube looking for videos, and I came across this guy's youtube page where he translates a lot of contemporary christian songs into ASL. He took classes in high school cause he didn't want to take Spanish, and he ended up really liking it. Besides the fact that he's such a handsome guy, I appreciate the work that he's doing.

Somethings that are so small can really go a long way. This guy is awesome for doing this. Thought I'd show everyone my find icon_smile.gifhttp://www.youtube.com/user/ktloveland

I was looking at christian songs online, and I came across his youtube video randomly.. and yes, he is so damn handsome so there is a slight crush. What made me attracted to him was his want to give back to the deaf community.. so it looks like this guy is hot on the outside, and beautiful on the inside too icon_smile.gif

Why are Christian songs a turn-off for you? Is it the musical style or that they're about Christ?

He's not accurate, even though it's adorable. icon_razz.gif

I used to be deaf for a couple years because of massive ear problems. I would date either one of them, AND be able to speak to them. ;)

I love watching sign language. I took a few semesters of it in undergrad and found out after the fact that what we were being taught (signed exact English) will just get you laughed at by deaf folks. I have not had the opportunity to learn the real deal.

I was listening to NeedToBreathe on Sirius and didn't even know they were a Christian band. Now I'm trying to find out if they are 'phobes or not.

My Father told me that his tribe once used to have its own sign language - due to a high incidence of either congenital or disease-corollary deafness.... As such, they have the saying "Dancing is to Signing as Singing is to Speaking"...
I best understood that saying when I watched the following music video - that was back in the mid-1990s...

I think I'd go for this one over the first guy, but I wouldn't reject either.

Yipes, the first guy goes to Liberty University (founded by "a great man" named Jerry Falwell). I bet he'd love it that a bunch of us gays are exclaiming how cute he is.

    Yep, from his profile.

"I am currently a Junior at Liberty University. Liberty (incase you haven't heard of it) was founded by a great man named Jerry Falwell. Jerry Falwell has now past away but his sons (Jerry Jr. and Jonathan) now run the university. Liberty is the largest evanglical Christian University in the world.....and the most exciting!"

Take a listen to a lot of Elton John/Bernie Taupin Songs. They have a very Christian sensibility, motifs and symbols.

    Same with Chris deBurgh
